If formerly Democrats could fund abortion, now Republicans can defund it\u2026 if they want.<\/p>\n
Yet, it seems that they do not want, even though they have been elected by their conservative constituents just for standing against abortion.<\/p>\n
Last week, the GOP-controlled Congress passed<\/span><\/a> an Omnibus Spending Bill (Omnibus Bill) valued at $1.3 trillion in order to keep the U.S. government from shutting down.<\/p>\n Yet, was it worthwhile not to shut it down?<\/p>\n Actually, Trump\u2019s signature did much more than just hindering the U.S. government from shutting down. It hindered the abortion industry from shutting down too.<\/p>\n The Omnibus Bill preserves Medicaid \u201creimbursements\u201d and Title X funding for \u201cfamily planning.\u201d This is to say, it maintains America\u2019s $500 million annual <\/span>contribution<\/a><\/span> to Planned Parenthood, America\u2019s largest abortion mill.<\/p>\n Basically, when Trump approved the Omnibus Bill, he applied capital punishment on all his promises of defunding abortion.<\/p>\n Does a government funding abortion deserve not to shut down?<\/p>\n Trump\u2019s approval of the Omnibus Bill is especially tragic because last January he delivered a historic pro-life speech<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The big victors have been pro-abortion activists.<\/p>\n Abortion was not the only tragedy in the bill Trump signed.<\/p>\n The Omnibus Bill funds abortions and does not fund the building a Border Wall, which is essential for the U.S. security.<\/p>\n It funds war on babies on American soil and wars on foreign soil, by increasing military expenses. It is hard to imagine a more ridiculous and hypocritical case than a nation that can guard its military ambitions around the world but is unable to guard its own backyard!<\/p>\n The big victors have been neocons.<\/p>\n Conservative columnist and author Ann Coulter late Tuesday accused President Trump<\/a> <\/span>of being an “ignoramus” who is “not giving us what he promised”\u00a0during a speech at Columbia University.<\/p>\n \u201cI knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didn\u2019t care,\u201d Coulter told the audience, which was largely comprised of College Republicans.<\/p>\n \u201cIt kind of breaks my heart,\u201d she added.\u00a0\u201cHe\u2019s not giving us what he promised at every single campaign stop.\u201d<\/p>\n Still, Coulter contended\u00a0that Trump\u2019s campaign was vastly preferable to\u00a0those of his competitors, whom she likened to escaped mental patients.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had 16 lunatics being chased by men with nets running for president\u2014and Trump,\u201d Coulter explained.\u00a0\u201cSo of course I had to be pedal-to-the-metal for Donald Trump. Trump is not giving America what he promised at every single campaign stop \u2014 at least, not on foreign policy, where Trump used to disgust neocons, but now he pleases them on every at every single point.<\/p>\n The vital mission of the military is to protect its own backyard. The U.S. military is failing horribly in this mission, because they are too busy in neocons\u2019 military adventures in other nations.<\/p>\n Before Trump approving the Omnibus Bill, pro-life leaders pleaded with him to veto it.<\/p>\n \u201cMr. President, Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion business in the U.S., making them one of the largest abusers of human beings in the world,\u201d said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue and one of the founding members of the Center for Medical Progress. \u201cIt is currently under investigation by your Department of Justice for engaging in the illegal sale of aborted baby remains for profit, as revealed in a series of authenticated undercover videos that shook the nation in 2015.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDuring your 2016 Presidential Campaign, you promised to defund Planned Parenthood,\u201d he reminded Trump. \u201cI urge you now to keep your promise and veto the Omnibus bill until it no longer provides any of our tax money to Planned Parenthood.\u201d<\/p>\n Yet, Trump broke his promise. He did not veto the Omnibus Bill.<\/p>\n If a foreign force were slaughtering over 500,000 innocent American babies a year, the U.S. military would work to defeat the perpetrator. Such high numbers of innocent lives are actually being destroyed on American soil, and the perpetrator is not China and not even America\u2019s favorite bogeyman: Russia. The perpetrators are abortion mills, especially Planned Parenthood. Abortion is today the leading cause of murder in the United States<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The U.S. military is doing nothing to destroy this enemy.<\/p>\n President Trump, who for so many times has promised to defund Planned Parenthood and its abortion holocaust, signed the Omnibus Bill. In the past, the U.S. Abortion Holocaust had the assistance of socialist Democrats to keep killing. Now the U.S. Abortion Holocaust needed Trump\u2019s assistance, and it received.<\/p>\n No government deserves to continue operating by delivering its innocent babies on the medical altar of slaughter.<\/p>\n No government deserves to continue operating by abandoning the protection of its borders to invest in the military meddling of other nations\u2019 borders, just to satisfy neocons.<\/p>\n It just sad that conservatives vote for politicians to save America from abortion, and then politicians need to keep funding abortion to save the government from shutting down.<\/p>\n What is the point for conservative constituents to elect \u201cconservative\u201d politicians if they eventually approve funding for abortion?<\/p>\n \u201cI say to Congress, I will never sign another bill like this again,\u201d Trump said earlier this month.
