Statement of Faith

We believe that there is only one true God who is revealed in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Trinity – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. As God’s son, Israel’s Messiah, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah of Israel who became once and for all the perfect sacrifice for our sins as the Lamb of God.

We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and the third day He bodily arose from the dead guaranteeing the bodily resurrection of all those who have received eternal life through faith in Him.

We believe the death of Jesus Christ on the cross is sufficient in itself to make atonement for the sin of the world–an atonement available to all who repent of their sin and believe in Him alone for forgiveness, salvation and eternal life.

We believe that three days after Jesus died He was raised from the dead and now sits at the right hand side of the Father making intercession for all who have received Him.

We believe salvation from judgment, forgiveness of sin and eternal life are free gifts of God’s grace and cannot be earned, deserved, inherited or bought.

We believe that God the Holy Spirit quickens us from death to life, indwells all those who receive Jesus Christ by faith as Lord and Savior and continuously conforms believers to the image of Jesus Christ.

We believe that water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation is a symbol of our new life in Christ.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers to live in purity and for powerful effectual service – just as it did in New Testament times.

We believe salvation is a process composed of three phases, expressed in past, present and future tenses in scripture. We’ve been saved from the penalty of sin (justification). We are being saved from the power of sin (sanctification). We will be saved from the pollution of sin (glorification).

We believe that speaking in tongues and other gifts of the Spirit are still to be practiced today just as they were in New Testament times.

We believe that God is a supernatural God that is still doing supernatural things today.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and declares His design and plan for mankind.

We believe that the Bible is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.

We believe that daily Bible reading and prayer are as necessary for the sustenance of spiritual life as food and water are necessary for physical life.

We believe that man was originally created good, but that he willingly fell into sin, thus ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.

We believe that every person on earth can have a restored fellowship with God through salvation (trusting Christ, through faith and repentance, to be our personal Savior).

We believe the true church is not an organization, but the Body of Christ made up of those who have personally trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and publicly confessed Him as Lord.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ gave His followers a commission to seek and save all who are lost in sin.

We believe that all believers are commanded to be witnesses for Christ, sharing the Gospel to all nations.

We believe that Jesus did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will physically return to this earth one day.

We believe in the millennial reign of Christ during which Jesus will rule over earth for 1,000 years following His second coming.

We believe God has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously by a Man Jesus Christ Whom He has appointed for that task.

We believe and look forward to a new heaven and a new earth that God will create. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following the millennial reign of Jesus on Earth.

We believe it is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict us of sin in such a way as to produce a deep sense of personal sinfulness. There is no sermon that that can convince any man or woman of sin. Real conviction of sin can only be produced by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said that when He the Holy Spirit comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment (John 16:8 AMP).

The basic facts of the gospel and the response which each person is required to make are simplified as (1) Jesus Christ was delivered by God the Father to die on the cross for our sins; (2) Jesus Christ was buried; (3) God raised Him from the dead on the third day; (4) we must therefore repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit; and, (5) we are also marked by an eager expectation for the Lord to return at any time.

Everyone who repents of sin and trusts in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ receives forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. If you are willing to repent of your sins and become a member of God’s family, following, knowing, and serving Him as your Lord and Savior, then pray with us:

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You died for my sins, that You were buried, and that You rose again on the third day. I now repent of my sins and come to You for mercy and forgiveness. By faith in Your promise, I receive You personally as my Savior and confess You as my Lord. Come into my heart. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me eternal life and make me a child of God. Amen

What Next…..?

If you’ve surrendered your life to Jesus Christ after praying the above prayer, seek God by faith and He will show you what He wants you to do. When Jesus Christ appeared to Paul on his way to Damascus to persecute Christians; Paul asked, Lord, what do You desire me to do? The Lord said to him, But arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do… (Acts 9:3-6).

Secondly, spend time in the Lord’s presence by reading, studying and meditating on the Word of God. You cannot mature as a believer if you lack the knowledge of God’s Word.

Thirdly, get planted in the local church or find a group of believers that God shows you who are practicing real, mutual commitment to the Lord and to each other on a sound, Biblical and scriptural basis.

Lastly, present your body as a living sacrifice. God’s will for us is to be a living sacrifice to Him, completely submitted and consecrated to His will and ways for our lives. Remember you cannot know God’s perfect will for your life unless you fully consecrate your life to Him (See Romans 12:1-2).
