Preparing For Persecution in the Western Church

According to a Pew Research Centre Poll, Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world:

The Centre’s report on religious harassment in 2016 found that Christians were harassed in 144 countries, up from 128 the year before.

The Centre reported that the number of countries with “high” or “very high” levels of government restrictions on religion also rose, from 25 per cent of countries in 2015 to 28 per cent in 2016: 55 of the 198 countries examined by the research.

The report says: “This is the largest percentage of countries to have high or very high levels of government restrictions since 2013, and falls just below the 10-year peak of 29% in 2012.

There are very few isolated places in the West that people suffer for the sake of following Jesus Christ and that’s why the most preaching and personal prophetic words in Western churches focus mainly on achieving personal success so that we can enjoy comfort and security.

God wants you happy and blessed; there is a successful lifestyle waiting for you! There is nothing wrong with that. But if you conduct a study for yourself of the prophecies found in the New Testament and the epistles, you will find only a few that prophesy a good life. Most dealt with chains, tribulations, and death that awaited those who would bring glory to God which is quite different from the prophecies of today.

It is been relatively an easy thing to walk in the West as a follower of Jesus. But if persecution breaks out in the Western Church, I don’t think we are prepared or equipped for that day that might come upon us.

In response to being ready for this persecution in the West, Howard Green writes:

It’s worth noting that the spirit of Antichrist is already at work even now, and this growing Christian persecution is certainly an indicator of the nearness of the Lord’s return and may very well be setting the stage for end time persecution that’s certainly coming. What you are witnessing now in the increased hostility toward true Christians here in the West is but a sampling of the all-out persecution that will take place as history comes to a close.

Many other prophets have been warning that where we walk in peace and freedom of speech, there is yet coming a time when even to speak the name of Jesus will bring such persecution that many of the saints and leaders of the church will count the cost and will not endure.

We should be aware that the Western secular politicians who want to inaugurate their centralized Marxist/communist New World Order view the Christian values as a major obstacle from attaining their utopian Luciferian global vision, therefore, these politicians, who don’t have anything in common with the murderers are using an ancient strategy: The enemy of my enemy is my friend which suggests that two opposing parties should work together against a common enemy which is Christianity in all its forms.

In her article on the hypocrisy of some of these people, Laura Perrins was disgusted with their refusal to even use the term Christian when describing those that were murdered:

So when I saw Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama refer to murdered Sri Lankan Christians in their sympathy tweets as ‘Easter Worshippers’, I was disgusted. It sickened me. Who are you, I wondered, to be so disrespectful? They cannot even use the term Christian, such is their disdain for us as a group, because for the Left Christians are the ones that do all the persecuting and can never be the victims, even if they are being blown to bits during Mass. No decent person would refer to Muslims as Friday prayers attendees, or Jews as observers of Passover. It would be disgusting to diminish them in such a way.

You might say these are Catholics and they are worshipping Mary instead of Jesus Christ but Martin Niemoller reminds us that:

First, they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.  Then they came for the Catholics, and I did not speak out because I was not a Catholic. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me.

The question is: have pastors or other church leaders prepared the saints for persecution? The answer is only a small remnant has taught their congregations to suffer hardship for the sake of Christ. Most people have a lot of faith but no endurance or perseverance. They’ve been taught to prosper and build the finest buildings but this will not sustain us in the coming days.  Christians should expect some kind of trouble.

Jesus Christ was honest in telling His followers what to expect. Likewise when Paul and Barnabas had preached the good news (Gospel) to that town and made disciples of many of the people, they went back to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch, establishing and strengthening the souls and the hearts of the disciples, urging and warning and encouraging them to stand firm in the faith, and telling them that it is through many hardships and tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God (Acts 14:20-22).

Therefore preachers and evangelists should be honest in promising people who come to follow Jesus that there might suffer some kind of tribulation. But they can cheer up because Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. We should acknowledge that persecution might happen and when something unexpected like an accident happens. You are most likely to be totally devastated if it comes.

For instance, if a pastor has been removed from the pulpit, this can easily stop the functioning of a church. In fact, a tactic of the communists when taking over a country has been to identify the pastor and all full-time workers and remove them from these areas.

If one’s pastor is suddenly thrown into jail, his spouse imprisoned for taking a stand against evil, or children removed from the home because God’s Word is taught, it is likely to shake the most grounded person. However, the mental shock will be much less to the individual who has acknowledged that this is likely to happen.

Most of us Christians in the western world today have a counterfeit faith which gives the Lord conditions that if He rewards us with wealth, health and heaven, then we will serve and obey Him. In other words, we want to serve Him but still retain much of our comforts.

We make demands of God and perform good deeds to earn His acceptance and blessing. The church has to a great extent forgotten that genuine surrender is where you have to offer your life unconditionally to God with humility and repentance regardless of whether it will cost you your life.

We can only count the cost and endure because of our love and intimacy with Him, and only enabled to do so by the inner power of the Holy Spirit.

As Christians Christ has formed in us the hope of glory, therefore we shall get the victory over every enemy.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us…… Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:1-39 NKJV).

A Nation At War With Itself

President Donald Trump has decided to cease cooperating with what he sees, not incorrectly, as a Beltway conspiracy that is out to destroy him.

“We’re fighting all the subpoenas,” Trump said Wednesday. “These aren’t, like, impartial people. The Democrats are out to win in 2020.”

Thus the Treasury Department just breezed by a deadline from the House Ways and Means Committee to deliver Trump’s tax returns.

Thus the White House will invoke executive privilege to deny the House Judiciary Committee access to ex-White House Counsel Don McGahn, who spent 30 hours being interrogated by Robert Mueller’s team.

Thus the Justice Department is withholding from the Oversight Committee subpoenaed documents dealing with the decision to include a question on the 2020 Census about citizenship status.

Across the capital, the barricades are going up figuratively as they did physically in the 1960s and ’70s. Once more, it’s us against them.

Cognizant of the new reality, Trump seems to be saying:

These House investigations constitute a massive political assault, in collusion with a hostile media, to destroy my presidency.

We do not intend to cooperate in our own destruction. We are not going to play our assigned role in this scripted farce. We will resist their subpoenas all the way to November 2020. Let the people then decide the fate and future of the Trump presidency – and that of Nancy Pelosi’s House.

In response to Trump’s resort to massive resistance, Rep. Gerald Connolly said: “A respect for the limits of your branch of government, a respect for the role of other branches of government, is sort of the oil that makes the machinery work. … Absent that this breaks down. And I think we’re definitely seeing that.”

Connolly is not wrong. But the requisite mutual respect between the Democratic House and the Republican White House simply does not exist. It broke down a long time ago.

The campaign of 2020 is on. And the stakes are huge. Not only are the first and second branches of government in play, so, too, is the third, the Supreme Court. Many Democrats, refusing to accept the success of the 50-year conservative long march to capture the court, are determined to pack an expanded court with liberal justices to overturn the conservatives’ victory.

With Republicans having won two presidential elections in 20 years with fewer popular votes, Democrats are also resolved to rewrite the Constitution and abolish the Electoral College.

Not only ex-convicts but felons in prison must now be allowed to vote, says Bernie Sanders, even if that means the Boston Marathon bomber.

Under the Sanders reform, if someone murders you, he is still entitled to an absentee ballot. The right to vote is apparently more sacred than the right to life. Truly, this is the divination of democracy.

Trump’s defiance of House subpoenas will fire up his base, which sees the world as he does and has never cottoned to what President Gerald Ford cherished as “the politics of compromise and consensus.”

Whatever may be said about the “deplorables,” they are not obtuse. They do not believe that people who call them racists, sexists, nativists and bigots are friends and merely colleagues of another party or persuasion.

Trump’s defiance of subpoenas, however, will force the more moderate Democrats to join the militants in calling for hearings on impeachment in the House Judiciary Committee, which is where we are headed.

The media are already salivating over the possible removal of a president they have come to loathe more than their great nemeses of the 20th century – Joe McCarthy and Richard Nixon.

And the media will reward those who echo the call for impeachment.

This week, two more Democrats running for president, including Sen. Kamala Harris, came aboard. Soon, the House will capitulate to the clamor and the stampede will be on.

The problem for Democrats?

Attempting to overturn the election of 2016 and remove a president who has the passionate support of a third of the nation will sunder the Democratic Party base as surely as it will unite the Republicans.

Should impeachment succeed, a wound would be inflicted on the American body politic that would take years to heal.

In the longer run, however, the question being raised today goes to the long-term health of the republic itself.

America surely does not lack for diversity. Its diversity – racial, religious, cultural, ethnic, ideological, political – is visible and ever-growing. What is missing is the concomitant of unity.

Moreover, it is the more racially, culturally, religiously, ethnically and ideologically diverse of the parties, the Democrats, that seems the more splintered than a Republican Party that is supposed to be afflicted with the incurable and fatal disease of Trumpism.

The questions raised by the present state of our politics, which might fairly be described as an American civil war without arms, are these: How does a nation so divided stand united in the world?

And if it cannot stand united in the world, how long does it remain a great nation?

Street Preaching ‘Should Be Made Illegal’

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grbXQRhKJGs]At first glance, I thought this was satire, just a clever comment meant to expose liberal hypocrisy. But upon further thought, I concluded that, no, this was not satire at all. It was meant to be taken seriously.

I’m referring to a comment posted to one of my YouTube videos, which was titled, “London Mayor Cites ‘Limitations’ to Free Speech, After Street Preacher’s Arrest.”

In response to this video, “John Duncan” wrote:

Being a bible street preacher should be made illegal as they often offend LGBT People, they all think that a marriage is between a man and woman only, anyone who is against Gay Marriage should be named and shamed and face a judge in a court, it should be a criminal offence to preach the bible in public, this preacher is a criminal, this is not 1819, it’s 2019, being Gay is ok, well done police officers at arresting another evil bigot, the LGBT Community will agree with me, Bible Street preachers must be forced out of city centres when they preach, LGBT Lessons and Homosexuality must be promoted to children from the age of 4 so they grow up to respect Gay People. And at least Muslims don’t do this as they are peaceful and law abiding citizens and don’t bring up 9/11, Manchester and ISIS as they are not Muslims, Muslims do not kill, Evil People kill. I am not Gay and I am not a Muslim, I am a Liberal and I believe in Love.

Yes, these are the sincere sentiments of a “liberal” who claims to “believe in Love.” How liberal and how loving! Sentiments like this bring to mind the saying, “With friends like this, who needs enemies?” In this case, “With love like this, who needs hate?”

This is the blindness of the modern “tolerance” movement, the hypocrisy of the radical left.

In the name of free speech, we will silence dissenting voices.

In the name of justice, we will forcibly suppress any challenge.

In the name of love, we will practice bigotry and hate.

Do you think I’m exaggerating? Let’s review what this commenter advocates, since it reflects similar sentiments I’ve seen and heard by the thousands.

First, street preaching should be made illegal because it offends LGBT people. And why does it offend them? Because street preachers preach the Bible. How horrific! What a scandal! This is criminal!

The reality is that preaching Jesus has always been offensive. That’s why the apostles were killed, and that’s why, to this day, Christians are being martyred for their faith.

In this case, however, the offense is focused on one primary issue, namely, affirming marriage as God intended it (see Matt. 19:4-6). Anyone who preaches this should be arrested!

Second, those who affirm biblical marriage “should be named and shamed and face a judge in a court.” After all, this is 2019, not 1819! We are enlightened today. We are progressive. We have evolved into a higher level of human understanding. That’s why those who dare to differ with us should be named and shamed before a judge. Perhaps tar and feather them if they don’t reform?

Third, in the name of liberal love, it “should be a criminal offence to preach the bible in public.” Go ahead and read your Bibles in private (at least, for now, until Big Brother Love comes looking for you). But don’t dare carry your faith into the public square. If you do, you’re “a criminal.” Criminals should be locked up!

Is America on the Brink of a Second Civil War?

How to Prepare for the Coming Second American Revolutionary/Civil War

Since having the dream about the coming second American Revolutionary/Civil War, other national voices—both Christian and secular—have begun to say that we are in a civil war now. If we count a “war of words” and some violence, you might conclude that. However, we are still not in the civil war that I saw in my dream.

I think many are seeing that the divisions in our country are now so great, and seemingly getting worse by the day that it is extremely likely we will end up in some level of internal conflict, a civil war.

Until I had the dream about the coming Second American Revolutionary/Civil War, I would have concurred that we were headed toward civil war, but that there was still time to change our direction. I understand now that it is inevitable. Even so, I still believe that the cost of the rising conflict can be reduced in possibly every way.

Prayer, repentance, revival, and an awakening, as well as serious government reform, can all have a substantial positive impact and reduce the cost of the rising conflict. Focusing on all of these is one thing we can do to prepare for what is coming.

Even if all these things are accomplished and the impact of the looming conflict is reduced, it is wisdom to prepare for the worst while praying for the best. What I saw in the dream was devastating, but it seemed to be focused in only certain parts of the country.

There will be safe regions and cities of refuge. Yet regardless of where we live, it is better to be prepared and not have to use our preparations than to not be prepared when we need to be.

Our preparations need to be done in faith, not fear. Noah had faith to build the ark, as did Joseph when he helped prepare Egypt. The dreams The Lord gave them were evidence that He would help, but they did not just celebrate this, they took action. We must do the same.

Shoring up our faith in God is the most important thing we can do to prepare for what is coming. To do this, we need to understand that true faith in God is faith in Him, not an outcome. We must resolve to trust Him regardless of what happens.

Many suffer the shipwreck of their faith because they put more faith in their faith than they do in God. Others suffer the shipwreck of their faith because they put more faith in preferred outcomes than they do in God.

It is not wrong to pray for certain outcomes, but it is wrong to let this eclipse our faith in God. If our faith in God is rocked because we are disappointed by an outcome, then we had a distorted faith in something else, not Him.

We must trust that God is never unjust, and He prefers mercy over judgment. He is full of grace and mercy and extends them when He can. He loves all and desires for them to be saved. He takes no pleasure in the punishment of the wicked. However, there is a time when judgment is mercy and grace and is inevitable.

He disciplines those whom He loves, and His judgments are evidence that He has not given up on us. Here is a shocking factor proven by studies: As many as 90% of those claiming to be evangelical Christians have been taught more by the spirit of the world than by The Spirit of Truth.

The worldview of most Christians has been learned from the earthly, carnal perspective of the secular news, education, and other sources rather than from The Lord. For this reason we can expect most who claim to be Christian to be on the wrong side of the coming conflict, at least for a time.

So how do we prepare for this? First, let us be sure that we do not fall into that category. We can start by caring more for knowing the truth than we do for entertainment.

The word entertainment comes from the concept “to detain from entering.” There is a legitimate place for recreation, which comes from the words “to re-create,” but mindless entertainment is robbing many of their purpose in this life and the ability to know and discern the truth.

Revelation straight from The Father is the rock that The Lord said He would build His church on. We must do all we can to know Him, know His voice, and obey Him. We can accurately know everything that will come to pass but not be in His will, which is the only safe place to be in the times to come. If we are spending more time on entertainment than we are seeking Him, we are building on a foundation that will likely not survive the looming storms.

If we would each take this next month to remove the things in our lives that are wasting time and instead use the time to seek The Lord and get to know Him better, then there is nothing more profitable we could do to be ready for the future. Being ready is not just so we can be safe, but so that our lives are on solid ground and we can help pull others out of the quicksand.

If we take all of the wasted time and resources from our lives and use them instead to seek The Lord, it will pay great dividends for ourselves, our families, our communities, and our nations. Each one of us can make a big difference in the times to come, and we will if we abide in Him.

We have been called to be soldiers in His last-day army:

Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier” (II Timothy 2:3-4).

We must get free of every entanglement that is keeping us from taking our place in His army and being the soldier we are called to be.

The Truth About the British Empire

The British Empire was the greatest imperial power that the world has ever seen. It was also, comparatively, the most benign. The Commonwealth’s membership of 53 nations, nearly all of them ex-colonies, is testimony to more than the generosity of our international aid programme.

Historically, most people around the world have been subject to an imperial power at some time or other. To be a subject of the British Empire, however, was to win first prize in the lottery of imperial rule. Not many punters, I suspect, would be opting for the Mongols, the Spanish, the Songhai, the Portuguese, the Mughals, the Belgians, the French, the Germans or the Zulus.

It is an undeniable fact that millions from the British Empire and its dominions fought for what was perceived as the ‘mother country’ in the two world wars. A former rebel colony that went on to fight its own war against us, now the USA, made the most formidable contribution of all to fighting and dying for its former colonial masters.

Meanwhile, the people of another former colony, Jamaica, yearn to be back under British rule.

Thank God for Britain – mostly, a shining light in the history of the world! Not that you would think so if you watched Saturday night’s Channel 4 programme, The Massacre that Shook an Empire, commemorating the centenary of the Amritsar Massacre.

Its presenter, Sathnam Sanghera, from Wolverhampton, clearly knows he is on to a good thing in demonising Britain – his own country. It is just so on-message these days to self-flagellate, don’t you know?

What with the fear of a post-Brexit shortage of Italian olive oil, of EU- sourced avocados becoming ever scarcer and the burden of de-colonising British education, times are far from easy for our MSM opinion-forming elite.

Amongst those offering a receptive ear to the anti-British self-flagellation message is BBC Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark. She was willingly gullible as Sanghera explained to her how things have gone so wrong with our understanding of the Empire:

I think we have this narrative in Britain where we are always the good guys, you know. We defeated the Nazis. We abolished slavery. Empire was a great thing!

It would be almost impossible to state the opposite of the truth with more misleading sincerity. These days in schools and universities young people are subjected to a non-stop diet of anti-British brainwashing about Empire.

One of the most widely used school history textbooks, for example, much reprinted, is entitled Minds and Machines: Britain 1750-1900. Its authors include senior educational advisers to government. In order to denigrate all things British, bogus evidence is invented for pupils to use in forming an opinion of the British Empire.

In relation to colonised people, for example, it states that ‘we have tried to imagine what they would tell us if they were to come back from the dead’. Pupils thus learn that an undead Princess Rani Lakshmi would tell us that: ‘The British punished survivors by firing cannon balls through them at point blank range’ and so on and so on. Yes, imaginary evidence, ‘fake news’ in its purest form, to damn the Brits in general and the Empire in particular.

Just how wrong could Sanghera be in claiming that Britain, today, promotes Empire as ‘a great thing’? He needs to do some homework! The massacre of hundreds in Amritsar was indeed ‘monstrous’, as Churchill said at the time, but it was atypical. It was so shocking that the Hunter Commission of inquiry was set up. It included Indian representatives and unanimously condemned the rogue general, Reginald Dyer, who had ordered the massacre. Few imperial powers have been so willing to admit to their own sins.

The truth is that the Brits may have been top dogs when it came to the size, power and influence of their empire but we have definitely been well down the league table of those who have perpetrated massacres. The Mughal Empire which Britain supplanted in the sub-continent was many, many times worse. And left to themselves the people of India resorted to unparalleled savagery in 1947.

Channel 4 and Newsnight should now come clean. Yes, rule by the British had its very real downsides and being massacred by General Dyer was one of them. Compared with alternative imperial regimes, however, it had much to commend it.

The time has surely arrived for all of us to be as proud of Empire at that great Victorian, Mary Seacole, whose statue stands opposite parliament and whose country of origin, Jamaica, so yearns for a return to its imperial past.

An Existential Threat to Independent Media

I’d almost ceased writing commentary except for occasional notes on my philosophy blog. Most of what I’d been writing seemed to fall on deaf ears, and I was weary of it.

Plus, the need to start a business to ensure my small family’s financial survival has consumed a good bit of my time for over a year now.

The Julian Assange takedown last Thursday brought me up short. Even though I’d seen in coming.

What I see now is an existential threat to independent publishing and alternative media of whatever sort.

Should it turn out that the British can arrest, and the U.S. can extradite, an Australian citizen, web publisher, and journalist for violating U.S. secrecy laws from well outside U.S. borders, this will establish a precedent that should send chills up and down the spine of every truth-teller in the world, everywhere.

Nothing justifies extraditing Assange to the U.S., unless the long arm of the U.S. government became the arm of a world government while I wasn’t looking.

Everybody knows the basics: Assange started WikiLeaks in 2006, and by 2010 the site was making waves as the major outlet for information the Deep Establishment did not want known.

It should be emphasized that WikiLeaks released material received from then-Bradley (now Chelsea*) Manning implicating U.S. troops in Iraq in what might have been judged to be war crimes if they’d been committed by anyone other than the U.S. or Israel (good WikiLeaks timeline and details here).

Manning did seven years in prison as a de facto political prisoner before then-President Obama commuted his sentence, which had originally been for 35 years.

In 2016, WikiLeaks released the DNC and Podesta emails which became one of the bulwarks of the Russian collusion narrative — a narrative now dead in the water.

Assange denied, and continues to deny, that his source was Russian intelligence.

Direct physical evidence refutes the common claim that the DNC server was hacked, as opposed to illicitly accessed and the emails downloaded onto a thumb drive by someone on the inside (here and here).

This evidence has been ignored. But never mind that now.

Assange appears to have been “targeted for termination” (so to speak) back in 2010.

I do not know if he was somehow set up in Sweden, or if the allegation of sexual assault was simply fabricated. Either is possible. What I doubt is that he’d make himself vulnerable by doing something so breathtakingly stupid.

The timing is suspicious: WikiLeaks released the video of the Apache helicopter assault just months before as well as other info on torture of Iraqi prisoners of war by U.S. troops, the level of civilian casualties in both Iraq and Afghanistan, etc.

So my working assumption is that the Swedish allegation is a hoax. Anyone paying even the slightest attention over the past decade knows that such hoaxes happen.

Assange knew he had incurred the ire of powerful people based in the U.S. He figured they wanted him. Obama was their current bought-and-paid-for lackey. So he defied the British and took refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy where he was given asylum. Ecuador’s then-president Rafael Correa was sympathetic, and even eventually granted him Ecuadorian citizenship.

A converted office became Assange’s home for the next six years and ten months, as his passport had been revoked and there was no physical means of getting him out of the U.K.

In early 2017, Ecuador underwent a change of leadership. New president Lenín Moreno, far more U.S.-friendly, saw the Assange situation as a “stone in his shoe.”

Assange’s Embassy life soured. His Internet access was cut, and visits by supporters were curtailed. For all practical purposes, he was in solitary confinement — which many have concluded is a form of torture. Apparently his personal habits and living conditions went downhill. Ecuador accused him of violating the terms of their agreement and withdrew his asylum.

This freed the U.K. to move against him. To them, he’d skipped bail when seeking asylum with Ecuador. The U.S. had bigger fish to fry. The reason he’d sought asylum, after all, was not fear of the Swedish allegation but his certainty it was a cover for a planned U.S. extradition.

On Thursday morning, April 11, it went down.

The man they removed had visibly deteriorated. Watch for yourself.

Assange is in custody in the U.K. Now what?

The U.S. accuses him and Chelsea Manning of trying to hack the password of a federal computer. There are indications of other charges, as of this writing undisclosed.

Manning is again locked up for refusing to testify in a secret hearing before a grand jury investigating Assange. This preceded Assange’s April 11 arrest by less than a month — a dead giveaway something was up.

We’ll see if Assange is brought forcibly to the U.S., given a show trial, and thrown into a deep dark hole.

Or found dead with at least two bullet holes in the back of his head, and authorities rule it a “suicide.”

The larger question: are we about to see the murder of independent journalism — alternative media — before our eyes?

The Deep Establishment cold war against alternative media began on November 24, 2016, and did its share of damage. With this war carried forward by Google, Facebook, and other leviathans of Big Tech in bed with the Deep Establishment, the drop in traffic to alternative sites (including this one) was noticeable.

But so far, independent media has survived!

Truth always does, one way or another!

Alternatives to official outlets continue to be “stones in the shoes” of those who would take us into their techno-feudal future.

Such voices have been annoyances to authoritarian power since the Gutenberg Press was invented, and since Martin Luther distributed copies of his 95 Theses in Wittenberg and started the Protestant Reformation — showing what one dissenting and highly resourceful voice could accomplish.

For the past 12-and-a-half years, the most resourceful dissenting voice has belonged to Julian Assange.

Hence the incentive to make an example of him.

If he ends up incarcerated for a long period of time, or dies suspiciously in custody, it will strike fear in the hearts of independent thinkers, writers, and publishers everywhere.

Keep in mind: Assange is not a U.S. citizen, has never been to the U.S., wanted nothing to do with the U.S. beyond exposing the malfeasance of its war machine. We see how Assange’s case could serve as a precedent: journalists and writers anywhere in the world can be set up, arrested, and extradited if those in power deem them a threat.

The number of truly independent truth-tellers has dwindled over the years. Those I know of would fit in my front room.

The journalism profession as a whole — like academia — sold out long ago. All one has to do to see the level of shilling is turn on CNN or MSNBC or any major network, possibly except Fox News some of the time. As for the latter, folks like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson have suffered personal attacks in this era of hoked up accusations of “sexual misconduct” and bogus allegations of “racism.”

If Julian Assange comes to a bad end, mass media and social media will get worse. We’ll see mainstream “news” descend even further into a insipid mixture of feel-good trivia, blatant propaganda, and mindless entertainment. We’ll see more and more reportage conducted in the Twitterverse, where character limits preclude deep thought.

What we won’t see is another WikiLeaks to expose the powerful and challenge dominant narratives.

It will be extremely interesting to watch what Donald Trump does. What we’ve seen so far isn’t encouraging.

Candidate Trump told his supporters, “I love WikiLeaks!” and “WikiLeaks is incredible!”

President Trump, upon being informed of Assange’s arrest, replied timidly that “I know nothing about WikiLeaks, it’s not my thing….”

Don’t take my word for it.

Has Trump become just one more lackey with a selective memory?

We’ll find out, probably before the 2020 election, whether Trump has been sufficiently compromised that the struggle against Deep Establishment globalism directed from the City of London and within the U.S. corporate-state complex is, for all practical purposes, over, at least in the U.S.

So that the march to techno-feudalism can get back to business as usual in the 2020s.

It won’t be easy — for the techno-feudal globalists.

For resistance exists not just on Main Street, U.S., but right there in the U.K. (Brexit!), in France (the Yellow Vests), and in Hungary and Poland where voters have put anti-globalists in their presidencies. Greece has been crushed by “austerity”; Italy is disintegrating.

EU-type systems simply don’t work! Unless you’re a center banker, financier, or other corporate-state globalist interested only in money and power: the telos of the materialist worldview that has dominated the European mind (and power centers) for over two centuries now, and has increasingly come to dominate the U.S. mind.

I don’t know what Julian Assange’s personal worldview is. I don’t know if he’s given the matter much thought. I am sure God has used him, and is using other truth-tellers.

The prophet Isaiah said (1:9): “Unless the Lord of Hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been made like Gomorrah.”

The Lord of Hosts clearly left us a Remnant, and it is alive throughout the world!

It was never God’s plan for humanity to create a functional world regime, which may be one of the reasons the EU has turned into an utter disaster.

Read the account of the Tower of Babel (Gen. 11:1-9).

Globalism may win a few battles here and there, but in the end, it cannot win the war.

Although because of our sins, ranging from the de facto apostasy of mainline churches to the U.S.’s truly horrendous crimes (think: 63 million unborn babies and counting!), we may be in for a very rough ride before the Lord returns to set things right!

*It should go without saying that Bradley/Chelsea Manning’s “gender dysphoria” is neither here nor there so far as this matters discussed here are concerned. Gender confusion does not preclude knowledge of right vs. wrong. What he/she did back in 2010 was highly courageous, even if it resulted in severe punishment, including life-threatening periods of solitary confinement. This is what we ought to expect from the military wing of a society based on authority structures instead of freedom.

What Home Schooling Did For Me

I WELL remember a day in 1982 when, facing a pilot selection panel at RAF Biggin Hill, I asked the officers if they minded that I was home-educated from age eleven. They smiled and said, ‘The RAF doesn’t hold that against you in any way.’

My basic village primary school had left me unprepared for public school. After a few days of incomprehensible classes I refused to go. This happened enough times that, eventually, I stayed at home whilst my devoted parents worked out what to do.

Major problems began when the local council completely misread the situation and threatened to take me into care if my parents didn’t send me to school. Terrified, my family bundled me into my uniform, then the car, and dropped me off at the classroom. Brutal, but better than losing your child.

Back at school the whole class was threatened with the cane. I promptly walked out of the room and then five miles back home. After that, neither the council nor any school wanted responsibility for me, yet for years my caring, stressed mother was interrogated weekly by the council which demanded to know what I was doing.

Unaware of this, and left to learn in my own way, I followed my passions for the piano, English literature and aeroplanes. We were farmers, and at 15 I drove the combine harvester, mending it when it broke down.

My proud and wonderful father died of cancer when I was 14 and the intrusion by the council ruined his last years. Had the council left us alone my home education would have been a completely positive experience.

Every child is different and I was an autodidact – I learnt best on my own. The RAF picked up on my determination, self-reliance and independence (ideal qualities for a pilot) and, armed with five O-Levels, I passed into the RAF College Cranwell, gained my Wings as a transport pilot and later became an airline Captain.

British law recognises home educators’ rights, but most local authorities treat these families with unwarranted suspicion. This results in needless and damaging conflict. In America, home education is mainstream due to dissatisfaction with the school system.

Similarly, it is going that way here. To ensure that their child’s education is suitable, parents must be able to take back control, unfettered by town hall bureaucrats.

The Government equates home education with wrongdoing, wants a register, as Chris MrsGovern reported in TCW on Friday, and officially sanctions damaging interference. If parents do not register their children, Government intends to force the children to school, and those who refuse will be threatened with a care order.

The Isle of Man, where we live, wants a six-month prison sentence for home-educating parents who refuse to allow intrusion into their lives. The unintended consequence of harassing powers like these is severe stress for law-abiding families doing their level best for their children.

Faced with these multiple assaults on long-held parental freedoms, I crowd-funded a legal opinion on home education law.

Home-educating families are protected by the Human Rights Act since home education cannot be equated with wrongdoing and parents must be presumed to be providing a suitable education in the absence of evidence suggesting otherwise. This was a point well proved in the landmark Scottish Named Person case.

Unfettered powers for local authority officers will damage far more children than they could possibly help and the Government will lose in court when the matter inevitably comes to judicial review. They should take a hint from my RAF selectors and become more broad-minded about home education.

The ‘Brainwashers’ Trojan Horse

A free society intervenes in parental choice with humility. Requiring children to be properly educated is, however, a hallmark of a civilised society

So proclaims The Times in a leading article applauding the Government’s proposal to require parents to register home-schooled children. The irony of its supposition that children are being ‘properly educated’ in our state schools and that this is ‘a hallmark of a civilised society’ appears to have been lost on the newspaper.

More than a third of last summer’s Year 6 pupils (10- to 11-year-olds) failed to reach the baseline standard in their SATs for literacy and numeracy. At GCSE the grade boundaries have had to be manipulated to ensure most candidates achieve a ‘good pass’. For mathematics this figure has ranged from 15 per cent to 20 per cent over the past two years, as even The Times has pointed out.

According to the OECD, the UK is up to three years behind the best education systems around the world. A BBC investigation in 2016 showed that the level of GCSE maths in the UK was around the level taught at primary school in South Korea (age 7 to 12).

Employers’ organisations are consistently complaining that at least a fifth of school leavers are unemployable. Small wonder, then, that we are so reliant on immigrants.

Meanwhile, the current A-Level pass rate of 97.6 per cent has done nothing to alleviate ignorance. For several years universities have been running remedial catch-up courses for first-year students.

This is the reality behind what The Times sees as children being ‘properly educated’ in mainstream, as opposed to home, schooling. This is the educational ‘hallmark’ of what the newspaper claims makes a ‘civilised society’.

Worse, in the wake of the November 2015 Paris terror attacks, the TES (formerly The Times Educational Supplement), published a model classroom lesson. It asked pupils to ‘give three good reasons for joining Islamic State’ and told children to imagine the world ‘from the point of view of a soldier of the faith’. ‘Isn’t it rather a challenge,’ it added, ‘rather a good way of getting to be important? Rather fun being awarded some female slaves? And you are one of the good guys too!’

Pupils were provided with ISIS propaganda and directed to the ISIS online magazine to assist them in being ‘properly educated’.

In its support for a home-schooling register The Times is in tune with the prevailing orthodoxies of current educational and sociological thinking. The intention, certainly, is to be helpful to children, to parents and to society as a whole.

Currently, we do not know how many children are being home-educated although the number appears to be growing significantly. A register will provide helpful statistical data; not least, the extent of parental desperation to find an escape route from failures in mainstream provision such as I have outlined.

The proposed register is, though, rather more than it seems and it is regrettable that The Times has not spotted what is going on. The BBC, though, has let the cat out of the bag:

Ministers say a register would help councils intervene when standards were poor or if children were at risk.

The register is likely to become the government’s Trojan Horse. It will become the means by which the failed teaching and sociological ideologies of maintained schooling are foisted on to home-schoolers via local authority monitoring.

‘You are not teaching your child in line with best practice’ will be the reprimand of the home-schooling inspector. Either do as we say or we will serve a ‘child in danger’ order on you. Thus, the home-schooling escape route from low standards and PC brainwashing will be cut off.

There may be a need for a home-schooling register but there is an equal need for safeguards against educational ‘enforcers’ bullying parents into conformity with what is supposed to good for their children.

To adapt and paraphrase President Ronald Reagan, for home-schoolers the most terrifying words in the English language will soon be: ‘I am the home-schooling inspector and I am here to help.’

How sad that The Times, a respected and illustrious newspaper, can no longer recognise the threat to family life and a sound education posed by that knock on the door.

Baby Shoes, Never Worn

Those words were Ernest Hemingway’s response to a question of what the most compelling story he could write in six words would be. Yes, many thoughts can be brought to my mind at those six words, but I think I am archaic and old-fashioned, living longer than I would like, in a world I hardly recognize – and I am only 60.

I am sickened by the daily parade of wickedness that has taken over the hearts and spirits of much of this country, if not the world. I am ashamed to be governed by representatives, such as Gov. (Dr.) Ralph Northam, D-Va., and those like him who can tolerate the infanticide.

States that already have liberal exceptions for the murder of the unborn, and even newborn infants, and others considering the same “rights” stand and cheer for death. It’s surreal. Now the United States Senate has defeated a bill protecting live-born aborted babies.

It seems such a short time ago. 1973. I was a freshman in an all-girls Catholic high school in Maryland. Those were the ’70s, free love, rock ‘n’ roll. We were no strangers to Planned Parenthood.

They did provide us with birth control pills without the knowledge of our parents. Interestingly, the clinic was in a poor area downtown, making it a bit more difficult for the girls in my sphere to access. (We know now that Margaret Sanger, the mother of Planned Parenthood, had intended abortions to be easily accessible primarily to blacks to limit the births of black children.)

I had friends who had abortions during those years. One girl had several. I heard that after she married she was never able to get pregnant, and I often wonder if she thought of those babies she might have held.

These were never planned pregnancies. Frightened girls were assured it was a simple procedure. Just a few hours. You go on with your life. The story back then was the cells could not feel pain; it was just tissue, like a cyst.

Then, in 1984, the movie “The Silent Scream” came out and was shoved out of the public view as fast as it possibly could be. No internet then. Those who saw it, never forgot. You watched the ultrasound as the fetus backed away from the suction tube, tried to hide, tried to scream. Horrifying.

No one ever wanted to see the pictures of aborted infants. The media would not show them. There’s a reason for that. It is sickening to see tiny, bloody arms and legs, torso, head. Then of course there’s a reason for the uproar against ultrasounds prior to abortion – again, it is hard to deny your own eyes and ears. Hear the heart beating, see a tiny baby, very much alive. A tiny person in every sense of the word.

Choosing to abort after viewing an ultrasound is every bit premeditated murder. There is the saying “Every abortion stops a beating heart.” So we can understand why the proponents of abortion want women to remain ignorant. There is money to be made. So even with the knowledge that the unborn can feel pain, and their organs can be harvested for financial gain, our wicked representatives declare it is a “woman’s right”! What about the female infant? What of her rights?

We are speeding down the slippery slope. Now we are at the point where a (pediatrician) politician (Dr. Northam) has no problem with abortion at any month, and is actually recorded in a radio interview declaring he is OK with killing a newborn, likely squirming, crying, cold and shocked by the strange bright new world it has just entered from the warmth and darkness of his mother’s womb.

A full-term birth, something Dr. Northam had undoubtedly witnessed many times, makes it all the worse. And now, those with voices, such as his, decide whether the child lives or dies. What if the newborn could speak, rather than cry? What if the infant could say, “Let me live!”

What then would these masters of the universe (the girl/woman and the doctor) decide? What is the verdict? Life or death? At this point, I am sure New York is considering the release of Kermit Gosnell, abortionist, convicted of murdering aborted live infants. Acquit him? Give him a license and let him get back to work?

I cannot keep quiet. How can this be? What person in his or her right mind cannot be tortured by the very thought of such an act? Have we grown so cold and callous that this is meaningless? If that be true, all life is meaningless, worthless for many.

We are like the beasts, perishing. And for the most part, that seems to be what we are witnessing in the world today. Yet, let’s not forget the pleas for the beasts! Even dogs and cats are given more consideration, as we are bombarded with constant reminders and request for donations to help the plight of animals at the hands of cruel, heartless humans.

There are those who would fight to keep a cat alive and yet encourage the abortion of a human infant. Supposedly, that which separates mankind from animals is the conscience and sense of morality. Very few animals kill their own young. Think about that.

There was a movie in 1973, “Soylent Green,” which portrayed a future wherein those over a certain age were mandated by the authorities to check in at a planned death clinic to be euthanized. There were very few jobs, and the people were dependent on food doled out by the authorities called “soylent green.” It’s campy, but worth a watch, starring Charlton Heston with Edward G. Robinson (in his last role).

But looking at society today, what happens, what is the consequence, when an entire generation of people, a taxpaying workforce, is missing from a nation? For 60,000,000-plus babies have been killed by abortion since 1973.

It makes it easier to see what’s coming: the fully accepted legal practice of (assisted) suicide and eventually, forced euthanasia of those deemed elderly and/or disabled by the ruling class.

Things are going to get much worse. I don’t see this ship turning around. If you agree, now would be the perfect time to seek the LORD.

For whoever finds me, finds life,
And obtains favor from the LORD;
But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death. (Psalm 8:35-36)

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” (Psalm 53:1)

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

My Family Fled Communism When I Was 6. Now We Fear Our Nightmare Has Followed Us Here

Following the State of the Union address, I found the state of the nation surreal. I kept skimming past articles about the Democratic Party’s proposed economic stimulus packages, collectively known as the Green New Deal.

They propose to fund unsustainable sectors like solar panels—which are already heavily government-backed—by targeting more self-sufficient industries, like meat production. In order to earmark raiding the cookie jar of productive businesses to fund those that aren’t paying for themselves, Democrats have to demonize the target in order to implement punitive measures such as meat taxes.

I know the Green New Deal is based on non-truths and artfully doled misinformation, like the deforestation myth, but most people believe we are losing forest land in this country to the meat industry. That’s one of the lies told to them by our leaders in order to take advantage of the public support and vote. They need a mob to rob.

A Bad New Deal

How did we get to this choke point of punishing meat consumption, as one NJ radical animal rights activist senator proposes, in the form of a tax?

I think I recognize a pendulum swinging back at me. Mom and Dad left everything they had to bring me and my younger brother to the United States. In this country, I am able to experience freedoms such as shopping for food, owning material things, and starting my own business. But that independence comes with heavy financial costs due to already overzealous, arbitrary, and crippling rules and laws.

Those urban-dwelling legislators blame cow and pig waste as they step over garbage on the street with plastic cups in hand.

As a matter of recent personal developments, I started making my own beef tallow-based cosmetic creams and decided to turn my products into a small business. This process is an ancient form of cosmetic production, and part of the reason I did this was to connect people to the truth.

I saw the threat to US food sovereignty—the safest, freest, most abundant, most reliable food producer in the world—coming in the form of untruthful propaganda planted by special interests. It comes in the form of false environmental claims like the threat of cow flatulence or pig feces.

Meanwhile, I work in NYC, and I see a different reality. Those urban-dwelling legislators blame cow and pig waste as they step over garbage on the street with plastic cups in hand. I see human waste in myriad forms coming from congested metropolises.

The waste is in plain view walking past storefronts. Constant construction to remodel commercial spaces after every tenant swap is in plain view. NYC takes at least 45,000 construction applications annually. Think of all the garbage from ripping out floors, walls, and ceilings and replacing them 45,000 times per year.

I wonder about the environmental impact of a throw-away society.

As city dwellers are packed in so tight in the street that they can’t traverse a sidewalk without bumping into one another like ants on an ant farm, we throw away more than 76 million pounds of garbage per day. Nine pounds per person per day of that waste is produced by people while at work. That’s a lot of to-go lunch boxes, cups, bags, and pulp from fresh juices. To what extent are the waste gases from discarded pulp considered agricultural waste?

I wonder about the environmental impact of a throw-away society. The throw-away society blames the ranchers: “We already pay for recycling and get fined when we don’t, so why shouldn’t they pay, too?”

Will the Green New Deal Be a Death Blow to Budding Entrepreneurial Ventures?

So far, I haven’t sold one item, and God forbid I do before all levels of government have been duly compensated for ensuring the safety and well-being of the people from the threat of me and my hand cream.

The local health department wants to inspect my kitchen “to make sure that your dog isn’t walking around getting hair onto the product or that you prepare your product on the same counter as your chicken.” The government can’t provide free public services for free. They want me to state that I am a chemist because their fee system is based on the number of chemists on staff.

They will refer me for registration with the FDA to have my products tested and my work facilities investigated some more. There are fees associated here, too. The government can’t provide free public services for free.

Naturally, the IRS will have to be notified and receive their dues. Now we may have a Green New Deal standing in line for my green, too.

Where Have I Seen This Before?

With children in tow, my parents escaped oppression and a lack of human rights—the right to pursue happiness and the right to own property. They also escaped government-controlled death by not having to wait for health care under a communist regime.

They faced the threat of punitive repercussions if they displayed any personal initiative or resourcefulness.

Not for lack of resources, total government control in the name of the public interest—with no private business rights—kept everyone equally poor and longing for basic daily resources and comforts, like coffee, fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, dairy, cigarettes, clothes, fashion magazines, videos, and news.

The populace that hadn’t yet died on the inside existed with the frustration of simply not being allowed to live normal lives. They faced the threat of punitive repercussions if they displayed any personal initiative or resourcefulness. Those consequences included regular government raids and confiscation of personal property.

The people waited in line for rations of flour and their monthly maximum of sugar and cooking oil; the political members—ruling elites—feasted on the produce and sheep they plundered from the farmers and ranchers. Then they exported the rest.

Romania was the breadbasket of Europe. But it was the black market that supplied the nonconformists and enemy-of-the-state families with the forbidden goods the paternal government deemed unnecessary for the people—smuggled American cartoons and Nutella for the kids and Russian black caviar for a birthday party or gathering to impress connections.

They were the ones who risked getting shot at the border on their way out, for they wanted options for their children, who were considered the purview of the state—another resource to be plundered. Citizens were expected to remain and exist only to act as chattel for the benefit of the state. It was servitude for the good of the people. Socialism had already morphed into stage 4 cancer: communism.

Present Day

Fast forward 35 years plus 4,751.5 miles, and that nightmare hound is back to nip at the old couple’s heels, sending chills up their tired backs. It is certain that there is a power struggle over our American resources.

They aim to chip away at our personal freedoms in tiny increments until the entire foundation of the Constitution crumbles.

Certain special interests have taken it upon themselves to seize control of our abundantly rich, productive, efficient, and privately-owned agricultural sector by demonizing farmers and ranchers, all as a means of prying control from independently productive family businesses.

These nefarious wolves dressed in white are no gentle lambs. They aim to chip away at our personal freedoms in tiny increments until the entire foundation of the Constitution crumbles. The slobbering wolves in white are gaining ground by pulling the wool over our collective eyes with lies. They are salivating to plunder the world’s breadbasket.

Make no mistake: they may blame cow farts, but when you have given them the ranchers, they shall dine on the same meat they have deemed illegal for you and me.

Can my nice cow fat skin-creams make me a target here in the United States similar to what my dad endured in communist Romania?

They buy us with empty promises to enact unconstitutional laws that entrap others into giving more and to tax the bad ones for the common good, ultimately entrapping all of us in that same net. As soon as we make more, we are taxed more for more social services that don’t ever solve the problems. Socialism is a crabs-in-a-barrel system where the political elites stand outside, watching some crabs pull the others down and the others give up at the bottom.

Becoming a Public Enemy

As a former refugee from communism, a New Yorker, and someone who is intensely appreciative of the producers who make our world possible—the farmers and ranchers—my aim is to use a small business to connect urbanites with the natural perfection of the raw resources normally out of reach to them. But the Green New Deal would tell them I’m evil and shouldn’t be given the same free access to the market to compete.

Back under the Ceausescu regime, my father was under surveillance by the secret police. He had dual citizenship and traveled freely, which merited him heavy government monitoring.

Thanks to the mainstream emergence of extremist environmentalism, militant activists, doxxing, and extremist legislators, I can’t help feeling the pending threat of that hungry hound. Can my nice cow fat skin-creams make me a target here in the United States similar to what my dad endured in communist Romania?
