A Web of Distortion and Deception
I am not inclined to believe in organized deceptions and neither I, nor anyone I know is a conspiracy theorist. Despite my inclinations, when I look at the media coverage of current events, it makes me realize there has to be more to it than meets the eye.
Part of the problem is that the Americans or the West in general have become too civilized and de-sensitized to believe in the power of deception and darkness. The apostle Paul says that people will not love the truth in the last days. He further said that “for this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12).
A quote attributed to Mark Twain states, “A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” Today people are too lazy or fearful to check the facts for themselves yet, power lies in the truth not in lies and deception, and the truth has the power to set a person free that is why the Lord Jesus said “And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.” (John 8:32). But most of us are afraid that we will learn the truth, and yet we can’t handle it?
George Orwell prophetic, nightmarish vision of how a totalitarian state in which the so called Ministry of Truth (MSM) used a language to brainwash the people is becoming timelier than ever. He wrote, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. The slogan was: War is peace; freedom is slavery; ignorance is strength.
This distortion of truth has given the media power to manipulate people to suit their deadly ends and in this process the truth is abandoned and replaced by fear which means FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL.
What happened to investigative journalism, to common sense and our God given natural instinct that tells us something is not right? Could it be that the violent hatred to which Donald Trump supporters have been routinely subjected to in the previous months has reached its bloody climax? No wonder Adolf Hitler said, “How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don’t think!
Please don’t call me disrespectful or uncaring when asking questions. There is a difference between a sincere empathy and compassion (which I have deeply felt for the victims and their families) and a mistrust of the state’s media industrial complex. There so many decent people who have refused to be fooled by suspending skepticism for the sake of emotionalism. One of them is Michael Synder who gives 16 unanswered questions about the Las Vegas shooting that the mainstream media does not want to talk about:
The public is not being told the truth about what really went down in Las Vegas…..The evidence is mounting that there were multiple shooters and that this was an operation that was planned well in advance. But according to the mainstream media, a 64-year-old retired accountant with a flabby physique that had no military training whatsoever and that wasn’t very experienced with guns was able to pull the whole thing off all by himself.
Mike Adams of Natural News also gives 10+ reasons why the mainstream media narrative is bogus:
Far from what the firearms-illiterate media claims, these are not systems that any Joe off the street can just pick up and use to effortlessly mow down 500 people. Running these systems requires extensive training, experience and stamina. It is physically impossible for a guy like Stephen Paddock to operate such a system in the sustained, effective manner that we witnessed, especially when shooting from an elevated position which throws off all the ranging of the weapon system.
The only way he could have carried out this shooting is if he were transformed into a human super weapon through a magic wand. I’m calling this “Mission IMPOSSIBLE” because of the physical impossibility of a retired, untrained senior citizen pulling this off.
Another Investigative reporter, Jon Rappoport has assembled a case for multiple shooters which is very compelling and makes it very difficult to blindly accept the media narrative of a lone wolf assassin. Another Australian man that was staying in the room right next to Paddock told an Australian news source that there were “multiple shooters”
Supressing Alternative Media
However, one thing I have observed is that when anybody dares to challenge the official narrative, they will be attacked relentlessly. Dr. Erwin Lutzer called this a cultural current:
A dominant idea promoted by the media and willingly adopted by a critical mass of people who want to believe a myth so badly that they will close their minds to all contrary evidence. When such a cultural movement gains momentum, people will stare at facts and filter out what they don’t want to believe. Contrary evidence will be ignored or reinterpreted to fit their deepest wishes.
And the more people believe the myth, the more difficult it is for those wish to counter it. In a spirit of euphoria, all warning signs are brushed aside. Before we know it, we are in the world where the truth doesn’t matter anymore.
Hitler believed one must demonize the opposition if one wishes to create agreement on political or social philosophy. He said that many people would never change their minds individually, but would do so if they were in a crowd of several thousand followers.
Hitler controlled all the media in Germany and all the newspapers were told what to publish and how to write the news and editorials. William Shirer, in his classic book, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, wrote,
Every morning the editors of the Berlin daily newspapers… gathered at the Propaganda Ministry to be told by Dr. Goebbels what news to print and suppress, how to write the news and headline it, what campaigns to call off or institute and what editorials were desired for the day…. Even a people so regimented and so given to accepting authority became bored by the daily newspapers…. It is a true statement to say that the basic purpose of the Nazi press program was to eliminate all the press which was in opposition to the party.
Similarly, the establishment that controls the media in the West would like to suppress the alternative media. The most enduring lesson of Nazi Germany in propaganda, this again according to Dr. Lutzer, is:
Ordinary people, simply concerned about living their own lives, can be motivated to become a part of an evil movement through the power of compelling propaganda, intimidation, and mass euphoria… it is possible for ordinary people to commit atrocities they never thought possible when they are swept into a cultural current where everyone is both expected to fall in line and be rewarded for it.
In such a climate, anyone who swims against the stream is demonized by misrepresentations, false evidence and ridicule. With such pressure, even rational and decent people who refuse to be co-opted begin to question their own sanity. Can they alone be right when everyone else is wrong?
Is this Happening in America?
There is overwhelming conclusive evidence that the power of state-controlled media working with liberal leftists want a civil war in America. Who can argue with that after all a CBS senior counsel said on Facebook that she was “not even sympathetic to the shooting victims because country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”
I can’t believe this is happening in America. You thought such inhumane and callous responses happen only in places like Africa and other so called “Third world” nations. According to Erik Rush these sort of people would turn their neighbors in to police-state authorities, even if they knew that in so doing they would consign said neighbors to enslavement, torture and death in concentration camps.
That’s the level of callousness and inhumanity which according to the Apostle Paul will characterize the human race at the close of the present age:
But understand this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble hard to deal with and hard to bear. For people will be lovers of self and utterly self-centred, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate greedy desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters.
They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. They will be without natural human affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); they will be slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good. They will be treacherous betrayers, rash, and inflated with self-conceit. They will be lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. (2 Timothy 3: 1–5 AMP)
Paul here lists eighteen major moral blemishes that will mar human life and conduct as this age draws to its close. Three of such moral blemishes in his list are:
- Lovers of themselves (lovers of self and utterly self-centered)
- Lovers of money (aroused by an inordinate greedy desire for wealth)
- Without human natural affection (callous and inhuman).
In these between are fifteen other features of moral decline, all of which have been manifested in the twentieth century more openly and a larger scale than at any previous period of world history.
Final Thoughts
There are very few journalists today who possess the persistently determined character to report the truth. Some love freedom and liberty, but most of them have championed the elite’s demonic agenda. In other words, they love money, their lives and comfort a little bit more. Who can blame them? After all, every one of us as human beings prefers to turn to the path of lukewarmness, compromise, apathy, and self-preservation when faced with the painful truth.
If these journalists who distort the truth would ask, what shall we do? I would answer, we’ve all sinned and fall short of the glory of God but you need to repent and start telling the truth. You were originally birthed to glorify what was just, good, righteous and pure in the human heart but you’ve been overtaken by lust for money, greed and power. You’ve become tools to manipulate and control the public by propagating lawlessness, death, violence, destruction, moral decay, lust, murder and every evil known to mankind.
You have propagated lies and bombarded us day and night with lies until the truth people once knew and embraced in their hearts was in turn exchanged for a lie. The blood of those that are murdered everywhere cries out for justice. And when you stand before the White Great Throne Judgement you shall give an account of all the deception you broadcast.
Our hearts go out to the families of those that were killed. We pray for the hundreds of those who are still in critical conditions. And we thank the Lord for those who risked their lives trying to save others. We’ve read stories of men who died protecting men, using their bodies as shields and standing up in the middle of gunfire to direct the women to safety.
The New York Post reports that one woman said she “was running away and a couple of guys said, ‘Hey, come stand behind us,’ and boom, they went down.” Heather Melton has described how she felt her husband, Sonny, being shot in the back, fatally, as he shielded her from the rain of bullets. Jesus says, “Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
Events of evil like this one reminds us, no one is guaranteed tomorrow and that life is short and eternity is real and very close. This is why all of us should always be ready to stand before Christ to be judged and give an account for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body. Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others so that they put their faith in Jesus Christ Who has conquered death (see 2 Corinthians 5:10-11).
