Last fall I read an interview of Bishop Athanasius Schneider (LifeSite News, “Interview with Bishop Schneider: COVID rules may be ‘a kind of prefiguration’ of the mark of the Beast”, August 31, 2021) regarding mandates in various countries to take abortion-tainted “vaccines” — that is, those designed, produced, or tested using cell lines from aborted babies — and carry health passes to participate in the most basic activities of society.

Bishop Schneider’s parents were Black Sea Germans from Odessa, Ukraine. After World War II, they were sent by Joseph Stalin to a gulag in Krasnokamsk in the Ural Mountains. After surviving that ordeal, they moved to the Kirghiz SSR of the Soviet Union (present-day Kyrgyzstan) where their son Anton (Athanasius) was born in 1961. Later they moved to Estonia, then after several years escaped to West Germany in 1973. Currently, Bishop Schneider lives and serves in Kazakhstan.

Because of his experience growing up under communism in the Soviet Union and the faith of his parents (and later his own), Bishop Schneider expressed his opposition to both “vaccine” mandates and health passes as highly immoral and a Satanic attempt to enslave and destroy humanity. While he did not believe that health passes — which are increasingly being required to buy, sell, and participate in some of the most fundamental aspects of society — constituted the mark of the beast described in Revelation 13, he did believe that they were a prefiguration of it. He said that this was something that must be resisted by all Christians and people who love liberty, even if it meant living a simpler, financially poorer life, or imprisonment, or death.

The bishop referred to his parents as an example of God’s provision in adversity. Though they were highly educated and could have lived a higher standard of life, they refused to deny Christ by cooperating with the Communist Party. They remembered Jesus’ words regarding the eternal value of temporal suffering being His disciple versus the eternal forfeiture of true life for temporal gain:

Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:24-26)

They were barred from having a profession and were limited to menial jobs with the lowest of salaries. But they were comforted by the words of David:

I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread.(Psalm 37:25)

The family lived very simply, but they always had what they needed to live, and they never starved. God never abandoned them. Living with an eternal perspective and trusting in the promises of God strengthened their faith in Him.

While there has ever been trouble of various kinds in the world, there are times when crises encompass more than an immediate area and cause more worldwide concern and fear. In seeking some explanation of the times, many have become interested in end times study and speculation.

There are a variety of perspectives on the end times promoted by many Christian and other religious groups. Regardless of the specific view, within biblical Christianity some purposes of eschatology include helping increase worship of God, bolstering proclamation of the gospel, providing hope in the midst of trouble, and giving a perspective that looks beyond this present world to heaven.

We have the assurance based on Scripture that Jesus will never cease to intercede on our behalf before the Father. He will never leave us during our darkest times.

The former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers because they were prevented by death from continuing, but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:23-25)

In fact, when Joshua led the children of Israel into the Promised Land, the Lord encouraged him and strengthened his faith by telling him,

No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.(Joshua 1:5)

God encourages believers in the same way. Persecution, distress, sickness, poverty, or death, none of these things can separate us from His love (Romans 8:35-39). Jesus is always faithful and will never abandon His children. In commissioning His disciples to go to all nations to proclaim the gospel, Jesus knew the struggles and hardships they would face and reminded them that He would always be with them and that He had all authority in heaven and earth to do so.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'(Matthew 28:18-20)

This is a promise to be with us in our present circumstances, in the future unseen by us, and at the end of time where the crown of immortality and glory will be granted to us. This promise extends to all who become His disciples by doing the work of God — believing in Jesus (John 6:28-29).

In the early church when many Jewish people were coming to faith in Jesus, they faced ostracism, loss of their jobs, loss of family relationships, imprisonment, and threats to their lives. But they were reminded through their suffering that the Lord would never abandon them.

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, ‘I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,’ so that we confidently say, ‘THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?’ (Hebrews 13:5-6)

Martin Luther, in his commentary on Paul’s epistle to the Galatians, acknowledged the never-ending presence of God through the grace and peace He grants us in Jesus Christ:

But when the grace and peace of God are in our hearts, then we are strong, so that we can neither be cast down with adversity, nor puffed up with prosperity, but will walk on confidently and will stay on the King’s highway, for we take heart in the victory of Christ’s death, and our confidence in it begins to reign in our conscience over sin and death. Through Him we are assured of the forgiveness of sins, and once we have obtained this, our conscience is at rest and is comforted by the word of grace. If we are comforted and heartened by the grace of God (that is, by the forgiveness of sin and by this peace of conscience), we are able to bear troubles valiantly and to overcome them, even death itself. This peace is not given to the world, because the world never longs for it and does not understand it; it is given to those who believe. And this happens only by the grace of God. (Chapter 1)

The same God who causes us to be born again always remains with us. He protects us for the inheritance He has reserved for us in heaven.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:3-5)

We may not know what challenges we will face tomorrow, or the details of how end times events will unfold, but we know based on His infallible word that Jesus is coming back for His children. Whether He takes us home through death or catches us up when He returns, Jesus will always be with us through our journey on earth. He who by His great mercy has brought us into a living hope will never, ever abandon us!

Pastor Martin Niemoller (pictured left) was one of the members of what had become the Confessing Church during the Nazi German deception. He had been a U-boat captain during World War I and was awarded the Iron Cross for his bravery.

He had initially welcomed the coming to power of the Nazis in 1933, hailing them as the heroes who would restore the dignity of Germany, get rid of the communists, and restore moral order.

Niemoller thought that the Nazi victory would bring about a “national revival” for which he himself had fought and prayed for a long time. But this didn’t happen and before long he found out that he too had been deceived. Niemoller met Bonhoeffer and both began to play an important role in the church struggle against the Nazi regime.

When Hitler heard that there might be a church division because some pastors objected to his agenda, he summoned German church leaders to his office to rebuke them for inadequately supporting his programs. Hitler began by reproaching his guests, with a long vehement denunciation about how he was misunderstood. He told them he wanted Peace between Church and State and they were obstructing him and sabotaging his efforts to achieve it.

When the time came for those who were in the meeting to respond, Pastor Niemoller explained that he was concerned only for the welfare of the church and of the German people. Hitler responded angrily by saying “You confine yourself to the Church. I’ll take care of the German people.” Niemoller replied, “

You said that ‘I will take care of the German people.’ But we too, as Christians and churchmen, have a responsibility toward the German people. That responsibility was entrusted to us by God, and neither you nor anyone in this world has the power to take it from us

During the months and years following, he was closely watched by secret police. On June 27, 1937, Niemoller preached his last sermon in the Third Reich knowing that he was about to be arrested:

We have no more thought of using our own powers to escape the arm of authorities than had the Apostles of old. No more are we ready to keep silent at man’s behest when God commands us to speak. For it is, and must remain, the case that we must obey God rather than man.”He further said “Christianity in Germany bears a greater responsibility before God than the National Socialist, the SS, and the Gestapo.

He was soon arrested and placed in solitary confinement.  The interrogation from police was easier for Niemoller to bear than some of the criticism he received from his colleagues for his words to Hitler. Clearly, the majority of the pastors had adopted an attitude of safety first.

More than two thousand pastors who had stood with Niemoller and Bonheoffer withdrew their support. They believed that making concessions with the Fuhrer would be the best strategy; they thought that if they remained silent they could live with Hitler’s intrusion into church affairs and his political policies. As the Lord Jesus says “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. (Mark 8:35)

In his classic book, Dr Erwin Lutzer says ‘the majority of the people, including the professing Christians, no longer believed that Christianity was worth suffering for, much less dying for. They were willing to substitute Mein Kampf for the Bible in exchange for jobs and the greater glory of Germany’.

Yet those who saved their lives lost them, and those who lost their lives saved them. What might have happened if all the church had condemned Nazism with one unified voice? In a sermon in 1945, Niemoller gave what could be the kind of epilogue on the German church struggle. He said:

There were in 1933 and in the following years here in Germany 14,000 Evangelical pastors and nearly as many parishes… if at the beginning of the Jewish persecutions we had seen that it was the Lord Jesus Christ who was being persecuted, struck down and slain “in the least of these our brethren, “if we had been loyal to Him and confessed Him, for all I know God would have stood by us, and then the whole sequence of events would have taken a different course. And if we had been ready to go with Him to death, the number of victims would have been only some ten thousand.

Niemoller has a word for us who live in the West. He was of course thinking of his own church and people of Germany when he spoke these words, but they are for us as well. Early in 1934, Martin Niemoller at his church in the Berlin suburb of Dahlem had prophetically declared God’s purpose in the trials that faced the German church. He said that:

We have all of us –the whole Church and the whole community—we’ve been thrown into the Tempter’s sieve, and he is shaking and the wind is blowing, and it must now become manifest whether we are wheat or chaff! Verily, a time of sifting has come upon us, and even the most indolent and peaceful person among us must see that the calm of a meditative Christianity is at an end….It is now springtime for the hopeful and expectant Christian church—it is testing time, and God is giving Satan a free hand, so he may shake us up and so that it may be seen what manner of men we are!.. Satan swings his sieve and Christianity is thrown hither and thither; and he who is not ready to suffer, he who called himself a Christian only because he thereby hoped to gain something good for his race and his nation is blown away by the wind of time.

Yes God is separating the wheat and the chaff! This is no time to pout but to accept our role as Christians in this society with joy and to prove our love for Christ and the Gospel. Make no mistake about it, without a Great Awakening both spiritually and politically, history is repeating itself on a far larger scale.

Andrew Torba the head of Gab social-media writing on his website has made a dire prediction for Christians in America and around the world, saying in the coming days believers in Jesus won’t be able to get jobs, use money, open bank accounts, or travel by airplane, among other routine activities:

On December 6th Twitter banned thousands of accounts in their latest purge of dissenting thoughts on the doomed and failing platform. As a result Gab.com saw thousands of new sign ups per hour and our traffic skyrocketed. When Twitter Purges, Gab Surges. While this is great news for the Gab community, it’s not great news for Christians. In fact, it’s a sign of what is soon to come which will be much worse than losing your Twitter account.

Something that isn’t being said about the latest Twitter Purge is that it was almost exclusively targeted at young, White, Christian men. Twitter flipped a switch and made thousands of young Christians disappear from one of the world’s top communication systems. No longer can they share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations on a platform where much of the world communicates daily. That’s a big problem, but that is only the surface level of what Christians have coming.

I’ve been trying to help Christians see the bigger picture for a long time about the reality of our situation. As I’ve already written the time for lukewarm Christianity is over. We must prepare ourselves for the inevitable persecution that is to come. We must not fear for we have a sovereign God who is in control. He has blessed us with the gifts to create, to build, and to reform.

If these demons in Silicon Valley have their way the only context that the name “Jesus Christ” will appear on the internet is to be mocked or scorned, just like He is in the rest of “popular culture.” We can’t let that happen. We can’t let our brothers and sisters be persecuted, silenced, demonized, and destroyed by these wicked people. Especially not our young people who are the future of Christendom.

I have long seen where things are headed for the simple reason that I’ve experienced it first hand myself. Soon it won’t just be Twitter. If you’re a Christian you won’t be able to open a bank account. You won’t be able to host a website on the internet. You won’t be able to send emails. You won’t be able to access the app stores. You won’t be able to transact with money online, or off. You won’t be able to get a job. You won’t be able to fly in an airplane. This is coming for us all, and it’s already happening to many of us right now.

Every day I wake up and work 18 hour days to build infrastructure for our future and bring glory to God because I know for certain that the one thing the Oligarch Regime fears is Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can stop them. Not any politician. Not some billionaire. Not me. Only Jesus.

We can, must, and will lay the foundation of a new civilization, an unapologetically Christian civilization. A parallel Christian economy. Christ is our King right now and it’s about time that we start acting like it. We need to stop sitting around moping and being stepped on by the Enemy.

God has given us the tools and the talents to take dominion in this world in His name and make disciples of all nations as we have been commanded. We can’t do that if the Enemy controls the media, the banks, the governments, the tech companies, and so much more.

Jesus did not ascend into heaven and say “see you later guys, uhh just sit around and let the world trample all over you until I get back.”

He left us a set of very clear instructions.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28-18-20).

Jesus has ALL power, not just in Heaven, but here on earth as well. He told us very clearly to teach and baptize ALL nations. He reminded us that He is with us ALWAYS.

Gab is essential if we want to be able to share the Gospel on the internet and have fellowship with one another across the world. It all starts with true free speech. If you don’t have true free speech the Gospel can’t be shared. Period.

It will, and already is, being labeled “anti-semitic hate speech” and banned on Big Tech platforms and even those who claim to be “alt-tech” platforms. All that remains is some watered down subverted version of the true Gospel. It’s an imitation gospel. The gospel of the Regime. The gospel of Fauci. The gospel of Black Lives Matter. The gospel of Trump. The gospel of Fox News. The gospel of CNN. The gospel of Zuckerberg.

There is only one true Gospel and that’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We must see Him for who He is, not who the world tells us He is. Jesus is not some hippie Mr. Rogers that our culture makes Him out to be. He is King of Kings. He reigns. He rules. He flips over tables in the temple. He brought the temple down to a pile of ash in 70 AD, as He said he would. He scorns the Den of Vipers. He rebukes the Synagogue of Satan. This is the Jesus I know and worship. This is the Jesus of Scripture. Christians better start getting to know Him fast.

We must not only drive the moneychangers out of the systems of control in our society, rebuke them, scorn them, and flip over their tables. We must also build new systems and infrastructure to form a parallel Christian society that glorifies King Jesus forever and ever amen.

Is America spiraling into totalitarianism? All the signs are there, suggesting we’re well on our way. Naomi Wolf, a former adviser to the Clinton administration, has been warning us about this for well over a decade.

In May 2021, I interviewed her about the 10 steps of tyranny, described in her 2007 book, “The End of America.” While we’ve been inching our way toward tyranny for many years, Wolf warns we are now at Step 10. Soon, there will be no turning back — unless we break free, assert our rights starting with our freedom of speech, and put a stop to this transformation.

As noted by Benjamin Franklin, “Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.” Similarly, Samuel Adams stated, “For true patriots to be silent, is dangerous.”¹

In the video above, Yeonmi Park, a human rights activist and author of “In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom,” talks about the clear parallels she sees between the United States and North Korea, one of the most repressive countries in the world.

Although she’s been presented in a critical light by an Asia-Pacific owned publication,² I am a huge fan of Park as she is such an inspiration to warn us of what will happen if we neglect to preserve our hard-won freedoms. Please be sure and watch the much longer second video below. I suspect you too will be moved by what she and millions of others have suffered and are enduring in North Korea.

Park fortunately was able to defect from North Korea to China in 2007 at the age of 13, eventually settling in South Korea two years later, but only after first falling into the hands of human traffickers and being sold into sex slavery for less than $200. Her mother was sold for $65. Park and her mother were eventually able to escape to South Korea through Mongolia.

In 2016, she transferred from a South Korean university to Columbia University in New York. In a June 14, 2021, interview with Fox News,³ Park stated she believes “America’s future may be as bleak as North Korea,” adding that “even North Korea was not this nuts.”

I expected that I was paying this fortune, all this time and energy, to learn how to think. But they are forcing you to think the way they want you to think,” she told Fox News. “I realized, wow, this is insane. I thought America was different but I saw so many similarities to what I saw in North Korea that I started worrying.

Not Having Problems Is a Problem

In the video above, Park explains why she told her story to Fox News rather than a more mainstream media outlet. The answer? They were the only one that asked her to share her views.

While the Fox News interview went viral both in the U.S. and South Korea, not a single legacy news outlet picked up the story. This makes sense, considering corporate media are part of the tyrannical network responsible for the implementation of this brainwashing.

I would rather die a free person than live as a slave,” Park says at the end of her video. “You cannot even fathom what it’s like when you don’t have freedom … America is falling into tyranny … Let us stop this before it is too late

In the video above,⁴ Park is interviewed by Valuetainment host Patrick Bet-David. I know 90 minutes is a long video, but trust me, your life could change if you watch the entire video. If you don’t have time now, just watch it instead of some movie or TV series. I suspect very few of you have any idea that this type of tyrannical oppression and unethical human behavior is rampant in North Korea.

In this hour-and-a-half interview, she delves a lot deeper into what life is like in one of the most oppressive regimes in the world, and what it really means to lose your freedoms. Even certain words have been censored from the North Korean language.

There are no words for “depression” or “stress” for example. The absence of such emotions is further indoctrinated through the one and only available TV channel, where every program highlights the rightness, beauty and benefit of the socialist system, and how wrong capitalist Western systems are. Here are some other examples in real life:

Every single thing about your life is dictated by the regime. You have no individuality. You have no “personal choices.” Guaranteed, you can say goodbye to gender pronoun preferences. That’s just being pushed right now to lure you into this false idea that the socialist system actually provides you with more of everything — including individuality and individual rights — rather than less.

But if you think about it logically, how can we create an “equitable” society unless all individuality is removed? How can you and I end up in the same place and be treated exactly the same unless everything that separates us — our individual characteristics — are eliminated? The end result is the oppression of everyone and the wasting of everyone’s natural talents.

Corruption is also guaranteed. Regardless of your profession, your salary will not be able to feed you, let alone pay for anything else. As a result, corruption is the norm. Food is also always scarce. Park routinely caught and ate grasshoppers. That was her primary source of protein growing up.

In fact, Park admits that it was hunger that drove her to risk death to escape North Korea with her mother. “I didn’t know I wasn’t free,” she says. “I didn’t know what freedom was. I risked my life for a bowl of rice.”

Reject the ‘New Normal’

The good news is, the would-be tyrants have not won. That said, we have no time to spare. Time is of the essence and we have no time to remain idle, hoping it will all just go back to normal on its own. I can confidently assure you it will not, and you will need to take action. I believe one of the answers is peaceful civil disobedience.

In the U.S., we do have the Second Amendment, which allows citizens to own and bear arms. That said, peaceful disobedience is still the primary and preferred strategy. We must also rally behind legislation that prevents the alteration of laws that safeguard our freedoms.

I believe that we will ultimately stop the globalists’ drive toward global tyranny. It’s not going to be easy. It may take years, and it may get far worse before it gets better.

The founders of the U.S. fled repressive societies or were children or grandchildren of those who did. They had to personally reckon with criminalized speech, arbitrary arrests and state sanctioned torture and even murder. The men who signed the Declaration of Independence knew that if they lost the war, they would be executed for treason.

The forefathers of the United States were radicals, fighting for liberty and personal freedoms. They had a vision of reality that was an absolute slap in the face of what the rest of the world tolerated. They were willing to sacrifice their lives to turn that vision into a reality.

Park discusses this in the featured video at the top of this article. How the story of our Founding Fathers — who cared enough about equality and human rights to sacrifice everything to achieve it — has been twisted.

It requires an illogical mindset to get our history so backwards. But each of us, individually, must also accept our share of the blame, for as Thomas Jefferson said, “The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.”⁵

We must also realize that the current cancel culture trend is not about tossing a dusty past into the trash bin and highlighting more pleasant aspects of our history. Far from it. As noted by The Most Important News:⁶

A huge national debate about our most important national symbols has erupted, and it is rapidly becoming one of our hottest political issues. But what most people don’t realize is that this isn’t really a debate about our past. Rather, it is a debate about what our future is going to look like. Those that are demonizing the American flag, the national anthem, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are not doing so for the purpose of winning a historical debate. Their true goal is to ‘cancel’ those symbols and replace them with new ones, because our existing national symbols represent values and principles that are diametrically opposed to the values and principles that they wish to impose upon society.If they ultimately get their way, the United States will eventually become an extremely repressive high tech dystopian society where absolutely no dissent is tolerated.

Focus on Taking Action Locally

Get involved in your child’s school, and make sure that what is being taught is in line with your values which, hopefully, if you’re reading this, this includes personal freedom, which is what the United States was indeed founded upon. Remember, the American system of governance places the bulk of the power at the local level, not at the federal level.

Government is currently fighting to centralize power at the top, but they can only do that if we let them. In the United States, local action can eventually have national impact, and that is how we peacefully take our power back and ensure our freedom. We’ve had this power all along. We may have just forgotten how to use it.

What we face today, and what is coming in the near future is pure, unadulterated, totalitarian madness, and so long as the people of this country remain indifferent to this tyranny, it will worsen and escalate every single day until nothing of value remains.

We are now on the verge of becoming a police state the likes of which have never before been seen or imagined by any American. ‘Secret police’ operating as agents for the state will be commissioned to quell any discontent, any disobedience, and any non-compliance as described by the political class in power.

It cannot be stressed enough that the end of America is just around the corner. The controlling scum in power seeks the end of this economy, the end of all freedom, the end of joy, the end of travel, the end of independent thought, the end of any realistic intellect, and the end of sanity.

This is where we are headed, and only the masses that are in most respects to blame for this takeover, can stop it. That does not bode well for those of us willing to fight for our freedom, as we are now in the extreme minority.

The risk to the actual freedom fighters is absolute, but without those willing to risk all for their freedom, little hope of a return to liberty is possible. All of us that will actively dissent, disobey all state orders, and call out the criminal government, are now targets of this heinous governing system, and every tactic necessary to eliminate resistance will be used against us.

This is already beginning, as Biden declares “war” on domestic “terrorism.” Ex-CIA Director, John Brennan, said “Biden’s intel community are moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about the pro-Trump insurgency that harbors religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

All of these are according to Brennan, insurgents, and he and the so-called “intelligence community” seem to be salivating at the prospect of war against the American people. This is a dire threat to anyone that disagrees with or stands against the state.

Criminalizing opposition to the political class is so insanely dangerous to the people that it can only be described as a policy contrived by psychopathic and evil dictatorial monsters as a way to gain total control over society through force.

Domestic Terrorism

This is not an exaggeration; as what is called “domestic terrorism” is being openly discussed, and new legislation is not only being considered, but is already being implemented in some states.

Biden and some members of Congress are calling for new domestic terrorism legislation that would vastly expand the powers of the police state. This is atrocious, as it will of course be misused to stifle all forms of dissent, while labeling any that disagree with government as terrorists.

This could, of course, lead to a complete censorship of all protest activity, as well as most all speech. The ramifications of such draconian policies are beyond reason, and could literally destroy our ability to peacefully fight back against extreme tyranny.

The danger of this could easily lead to more violence by not only the justified victims of state tyranny, but also massive violent abuse of the citizenry by government enforcement goons in the police and military. Lunacy does not begin to describe the treacherous nature of such authoritarian measures.

We are now on the verge of becoming a police state the likes of which have never before been seen or imagined by any American. ‘Secret police’ operating as agents for the state will be commissioned to quell any discontent, any disobedience, and any non-compliance as described by the political class in power.

The people themselves will be expected to monitor their friends, family, and neighbors, and report what will be labeled as any seditious behavior. This reality is nearly upon us. Attempts to control all thought and action are desired, so we will be told to carry state approved identification papers, we will be told when and where we may go, and we will be told what we are allowed to say or write.

Additional severe mandates will be forthcoming, and more fines, force, and incarceration will be threatened and will be implemented as deemed necessary by the controlling few. As scary as it sounds, this country could easily look more like Hitler’s Germany or Stalin’s Russia in the near future than the United States of old. This is not some wild or fantastic ‘conspiracy theory;’ just look around at all the signs in front of you.

Most of you are already masked; many of you have been forced to abandon your businesses and jobs, you have been told to desert your loved ones, and many have been driven into poverty. Now you will be told you may not travel or get the necessities of life unless you obey orders to get injected with a poisonous, gene-altering, and deadly concoction mislabeled as a vaccine. Once injected, you will have an operating system inside your body that can allow outside control over you.

The evil Fauci is even saying now that this bogus ‘vaccine’ may become mandatory. Most are already complying with every order given; orders that are restrictive, extremely harmful, and life-changing, so how much additional effort by this heinous government is necessary in order to turn this population into slaves of a fascist and communistic oligarchy?

Who is willing to resist instead of act like sheep?

How many will gain the courage to say no? How many will take the required risk that is essential in order to reclaim freedom? How many of you will stand up to those attempting to control you? How many will wait until there is absolutely nothing left before you question this corruption? How many of you will continue to do as you are told, regardless of the consequences to yourself, your families, and your friends?

We are living a nightmare. The only escape from this horror is to wake up. If the many continue to sleep and continue to practice mass obedience, those of us willing to fight back will be targeted by this horrific state.

If the people willing to stand up against this tyranny are silenced, incarcerated, or exterminated, all hope will be lost, and this American society will no longer exist in its present form. (Collaborators will then be eliminated).

But if large numbers refuse to comply, refuse to take orders, and refuse to allow this totalitarian takeover, then we all win.

Division will destroy us, but solidarity will defeat the enemy that is the state. It is time to put great fear in the hearts and minds of any ruler, politician, or enforcer that would attempt to control or enslave us!

The movie “The Matrix” has spawned many a political meme on the choice of staying comfortably asleep in a fantasy world where one enjoys free agency and a meaningful role in shaping the future, or awakening to the cruel reality of being an expendable slave to the agenda of a machine designed to control one’s every thought and action.

In the film, the protagonist, Neo, is rudely awakened to reality by members of a resistance movement who have broken free from the machine, and, in a meeting with their leader Morpheus, is given the choice to remain free by taking a red pill, or to return to the fantasy dream state by taking a blue pill. He takes the red pill, and the fight for good (liberty) vs. evil (slavery) begins.

Over the past four years, We the People have been Neo, and Donald Trump has been our Morpheus. The MAGA movement chose the red pill. The Dems, Never Trumpers and RINOs chose the blue pill. Today the battle rages on between the MAGA Deplorables and the Machine, but with Morpheus seemingly defeated, and only vaporous QAnon rumors or the miraculous intervention of God left to base our hopes for a restored America upon, our collective grasp of reality is being shaken by the Machine’s power to conform human perception to its narratives. Who can we trust and how can we know what is real?

I had written and submitted a very different version of this column last night, but this morning I read Joseph Farah’s critically important piece, “The night of long knives – tech-style,” and I’m rewriting my column in support and in response to it. Please take a moment to read his piece before you continue with mine.

This election was, as we continuously reminded each other, a winner-take-all battle for control of the nation between hyper-polarized partisans. A post-election purge of the losers was inevitable, and we would be happy about it if the purge was removing Marxists from power. However, if we were doing the purging, our standards would be truth-based and our tactics honorable and proportionate.

Not so with the left. Truth does not matter to the left, only the narratives. And their leaders are by nature malicious, often sadistic people who excel at what Hillary (cynically posing as a victim) called “the politics of personal destruction.” Trust me, I’ve been through their meat grinder. This is going to get really ugly, really fast and last for a long time.

From here on, under their new relentlessly repeated revisionist narrative, Trump will be the American Hitler and every Deplorable a white supremacist. In their minds, and to the Blue Pill Public, this will justify their every action against conservative speech, thought, symbol, organization and person. The reprehensible rhetoric and tactics of the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) hate group will become public policy.

BE WARNED: Especially in the early stage, any militant bluster or bravado from Trump supporters will be characterized as hate speech and/or sedition. Marxist Brownshirts will look eagerly for people to make examples of. If you doubt me, just ask Adolfo Martinez who is serving 16 years in prison for the unforgivable crime of burning a “gay pride” flag.

How can the MAGA movement not just survive the purge but emerge from it stronger when it finally wanes? Use your 20/20 hindsight and consider what you would do if you were a Russian Christian during the Bolshevik takeover of 1917.

• The most important action constitutionalists can take right now is to fully document what really happened over the past four years. The fatal flaws in the Marxist plans are their lies about the election fraud and all of the other dirty tricks and tactics they orchestrated to take down Trump. The left will soon begin to purge the evidence from the public record, so TODAY start getting downloads and screenshots of everything! Load all digital documentation on off-the-grid external hard drives and store them in EMP-proof containers. Make paper copies of the most important items. If you have skills, create media to disseminate the truth, from one-page bullet-point flyers to feature-length documentary films. If you lack those skills, volunteer in the projects of others.

• Go low-tech at least part-time from now on. Get a land-line telephone as a back-up communications method. Export all of your electronically stored data and print it out, especially your contact information with fellow constitutionalists, and start keeping hard-copy paper back-ups of everything important to you. Get back to using the U.S. Postal Service for some of your correspondence so it doesn’t go bankrupt and deprive us of the only truly confidential communications method we have. Start using paper currency more often to counteract the push toward a cashless society. Start thinking about bartering among your friends and family.

• Go Natural. Start categorizing the things in your life as either natural or artificial, and adopt the general rule of preferring the natural. The most artificial thing in our lives is the virtual world, which the elites want to replace the natural in all things because, as we’re beginning to experience, they can exercise total control over everything in it. It IS the Matrix! As a starting point for breaking free, I offer you my Declaration of the Natural Life Movement (a red pill).

• Go underground. In 2019 the Holy Spirit began prompting me to begin preparing to establish a network of “underground” Christian believers and congregations, in the expectation that this final generation leading to the return of Christ would face circumstances similar to what the Christians of the first century endured. I formally launched First Century Bible Church in March of 2020. I believe the current Marxist purge of MAGA members will include the persecution of Christians, and I urge Remnant believers to act accordingly. If you agree, and can accept our model of unity in the essentials, tolerance in all else, you are invited to join or affiliate with FCBC.

• Join Swamp Rangers. If there remains any chance of saving America (in whole or in part) from Marxist hell, that can only happen from the bottom up through the actions of grass-roots constitutionalists. I formed Swamp Rangers as a ministry of First Century Bible Church to build a national grass-roots network and maximize our combined influence. We officially launched on Jan. 1 and are now accepting members.

Come what may, never give up the fight for truth and liberty! But choose your battles, and your allies, very carefully.

Today I was told to quit. The person who said this was deeply concerned about my welfare. They made a chilling case for me to go silent while there was still time. They talked about websites with millions of followers that were suddenly wiped out today.

They told me that anything I would say would be twisted—and, that not only would I be banned, but they would go after me until they had destroyed my career as a preacher.

I was ready to answer this person, because the Holy Spirit had warned me in advance that they were coming. So now I am going to relate to you what God told me about quitting. God gave me these verses:

Acts 18:9-11, “Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.” And he (Paul) continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.”

The fact is that this blog and this ministry can’t be explained in the natural, anyway. Since it was born supernaturally, it will be sustained supernaturally. Not only am I not quitting, I will amplify all the words I receive from the Lord. You can count on that.

God is stands ready to refresh and empower you for a fresh attack on evil.

Isaiah 40 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Now, I want to speak heart to heart with the remnant of God in America: This is a test. And we are in the worst part of that test. The rage of anti-God social media is out of control, because they feel emboldened to do whatever they want. And because they think Trump is done.

They are raining down shame and accusation on anyone who speaks truth. Nevertheless, we must not fear and we must not fold. Those preachers who cave in to fear, and then abandon their message, will pay a heavy price, not only from shame but also from regret―because they gave up just before the breakthrough.

1 Peter 4:17, “For it is the time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

Evil is having its day.

You knew this wasn’t going to be easy. You knew their evil had to have its day. You knew there was no way we could have challenged these devils without unleashing a storm of hatred.

I know that fear can feel irresistible in this storm. I know it is disheartening when you see people you respected—and some of the last people you would have imagined—caving in and recanting their convictions.

But again, this is the worst time to fold. This is the worst time to doubt what God has said to you. Fear is not an option.

Compromising with the enemy can be seductive, but it will end in disaster, and, as I said, you will feel deep remorse if the breakthrough comes right after you quit. Can you imagine having to live with that for the rest of your life?

Job 23:10, “He knows the way that I take. When He has tried me, I will come forth as gold, refined in the fire.”

I feel God is imploring us to hang on a little longer. I know how hard it has been! You have heard stories that promised to uncover the truth and turn the tide. Each time they raised our hopes and, when it didn’t happen, it wounded us.

I am not asking you to trust in myths, legends, or conspiracy theories.  I am compelling you to trust in God Himself and in His inspired words recorded in the Bible.

Hang in there. The enemy is going to be shocked! Hang in there. There are options we don’t know about. God is going to finish what He started in our great movement!

Hebrews 10:35-39, “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

For yet a little while, and He Who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

When I was a kid growing up in the Soviet Union, it was essentially forbidden to make a better life for yourself.

You couldn’t just decide to go back to school, start a business, or switch careers to a thriving new industry. And it didn’t matter how hard you worked– you were most likely NEVER going to be promoted. All the top jobs in the Soviet Union were reserved for party loyalists.

The government removed EVERY possible economic incentive to achieve more… which is why service was pitiful, technology was lagging, and the Soviet economy was consistently in the dumps.  Now, on occasion, the government would decide that they wanted to populate certain rural areas of Russia, such as remote parts of Siberia. Quite often families were simply ordered to pick up and move, as was famously the case under Stalin.

But by the 1970s, the government would provide a small financial incentive for families– if you moved to Siberia, you could earn a slightly higher salary. This became literally the ONLY way that anyone could (legally) make more money in the Soviet Union. And that’s how my parents and I ended up moving to a cold, little town in western Siberia in 1985.

The plan was to stay there for a few years, save money, and then move back to a nicer, bigger city in Russia with a better climate. The fact that our new Siberian town didn’t have a single restaurant, cinema, or even an ice-cream place, made the ‘saving money’ part really easy.

My parents followed through on their plan. And by the early 1990s they had saved enough money to buy a decent house, plus a car, and still have some savings left over. But then, the unimaginable happened– the Soviet Union collapsed. And the economy crashed.

Inflation, then hyperinflation, followed, as the government started printing money like crazy in an effort to continue making interest payments on its debt.  Prices skyrocketed. At some point, stores stopped displaying price signs. Why bother, if they were doubling every other week or so?

Salaries and pensions did not keep up with inflation; almost everyone became more poor with each passing day. Most people, including my parents, were caught completely unprepared.

The general level of financial literacy at the time was pitiful; most Russians didn’t know the first thing about money, finance, or economics, so no one knew how to react to the hyperinflation that was unfolding in front of our very eyes.

It was as if everyone was frozen in disbelief, including my parents.  By 1990, before the crisis, my parents had saved 50,000 rubles. At the time, that would have been enough to buy a house and a car.

After a few years of crisis, my parents still had the same 50,000 rubles. But by then, all they could afford to buy with it was a pair of winter boots for my mother. Their entire nest egg had been completely inflated away in a few short years.

But not everyone had lost during that time.  Those who successfully navigated the financial Wild West of the 1990s in Russia turned this crisis into the opportunity of their lifetimes.

For example, I remember seeing ads in a newspaper offering to exchange a flat in Moscow for a poor-quality Soviet car.

It was an unbelievable trade when you think about it; the guy with the apartment was probably panicking and trying to leave the country, so he thought it would be a good idea to trade his apartment for a car.

But ten years later, the car was a worthless pile of scrap. Meanwhile the owner of the flat still held a valuable asset that had appreciated significantly in value and kept up with inflation.

And naturally the savviest people were able to buy extremely high quality assets on the cheap– like real estate and businesses, including shares of newly-privatized oil companies.

Investing in Gazprom in the early 1990s was like buying bitcoin in 2010. Later these people became known as Russian oligarchs. Now, I’m not writing this to suggest that the same financial catastrophe will take place in the US or Europe.

After all, the ruble didn’t enjoy the status of being the world’s reserve currency in the early 90s. And the economy of the late Soviet Union was already in terrible shape. Still, this very recent history should serve as a reminder: idiotic economic policies almost always have consequences.

When a government goes out of its way to destroy economic incentives, through higher taxes or abusive regulations, bad things usually happen. When a government accumulates a mountain of debt that is impossible to pay, bad things usually happen.

When a central bank conjures trillions of dollars out of thin air, bad things usually happen.

And I can tell you from personal experience that when a society actively embraces a Communist ideology, bad things usually happen. And all of these issues in North America and Europe certainly could create consequences for the dollar and euro some day.

This isn’t a dire prediction, it’s just common sense… something that most politicians seem to be lacking these days. It’s important to think about risks and consequences and prepare for them in advance; I watched my parents lose their entire nest egg and become victims of other people’s stupidity, because they were unprepared.

But today we have access to so much more information and education. We can learn about how gold and silver have maintained their value against inflation for thousands of years. We can learn about other assets, whether productive land, cryptocurrency, or profitable business ventures, that can do well, even in times of crisis.

The increase in church fires and bombings should not be dismissed; it is a precursor to the increasing global annihilation of Christians. The Communist New World Order globalists know exactly what they are doing and that’s why few of them has said a word to condemn these attacks on Christians. Instead, two of them tweeted that those murdered were “Easter worshipers” not Christians.

A Communist has written, ‘The only people who can help the world in its present condition are the Christians, but they do not realize it.

The great ideological motivator of persecution against Christians is Communism. The communists are busy forming cells. What are Christians doing? We are busy building projects and fighting against each other. The struggle is between cessationists and continuationists.

Almost a quarter century ago, something remarkable happened. Religious leaders were oblivious to the Russian revolution that was about to take place. It was reported that on the eve of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, conferences were being held in two hotels on the same Moscow Street.

At the consultation sponsored by the Orthodox Church, clergy vestments were the principle agenda item. In another meeting, Vladimir Lenin and friends were finalizing plans to overthrow the existing regime.

Jan Pit in his book Persecution: It Will Never Happen Here writes:

During the appalling Vietnam War, church leaders from a certain Christian group held their annual conference. The southern Vietnamese city resembled a fortress. There were soldiers everywhere, barricades, and a terrifying collection of weaponry. Daily attacks were being made on the city by the communist Viet Cong, yet the pastors continued to discuss the various activities which they would embark upon in the ensuing years.

They even adopted a ten-year plan. Despite all the evidence, no one there thought it possible for South Vietnam to be overthrown. All were convinced the country would remain open to mission work. The church remained unprepared.

The churches in the Western nations are in a similar situation. They are going about with their business, as usual, ignoring the impending distress and persecution that could come to Christians.

What is most extraordinary is that despite the systematic persecution that generally prevails against Christians in Communist nations, Christianity is nonetheless flourishing in some Marxist/communist Western countries.

There are four ways churches are likely to respond as the pressure comes from government or other sources:

1. The church closes;
2. They attempt to co-exist with government regulations;
3. They resist and become a protest church; or
4. They go underground.

Sprit-led Leadership

Spirit-led leadership is most important when the church is facing a hostile situation. The type of church leadership which is widely accepted in Western society today, with one man at the centre of all activity, cannot continue in a repressive society. It is easy for the authorities to remove the key man and stop that church’s impact.

Open Doors with Brother Andrew described what happens when a country suddenly falls to Communism just as it happened in Cambodia and Mozambique:

By the time communists take over a country, they have already identified the key Christian leaders on the local as well as national level. Anyone who was a full-time Christian worker before the takeover must assume he is a “marked” man.

In Vietnam, even Christian businessmen who were not full-time Christian workers, but who had exercised lay leadership, were marked. These people do not have the option of going underground. They must stand openly or face the consequences.

In the period of confusion that immediately follows a takeover, some small groups of Christians may be able to move to a different locality and become underground churches, but they must leave their “institutional” forms behind. Then through the Holy Spirit leaders will be raised up.

House Churches

The early church worshipped in the temple, synagogues, lecture halls, open forums, riverbanks, and ships, as well as homes for worship. The New Testament specifically refers to them as “house meetings.”

Tell Priscilla and Aquila hello. They have been my fellow workers in the affairs of Christ Jesus. In fact, they risked their lives for me, and I am not the only one who is thankful to them; so are all the Gentile churches. Please give my greetings to all those who meet to worship in their home. Greet my good friend Epaenetus. He was the very first person to become a Christian in Asia (Romans 16:3-5).

The churches here in Asia send you their loving greetings. Aquila and Priscilla send you their love, and so do all the others who meet in their home for their church service (1 Corinthians 16:19).

Please give my greeting to the Christian friends at Laodicea, and to Nymphas, and to those who meet in his home (Colossians 4:15).

To the beloved Apphia, Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house (Philemon 1:2).

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart (Acts 2:46).

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ (Acts 5:42).

How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house (Acts 20:20).

Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church that is in his house (Colossians 4:15).

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting (Acts 2:2; see Romans 12:4-8 Titus 1:1-16 1 Corinthians 14:26 Matthew 18:20).

Today one-third of Christians in the world operates (worship?) in secrecy with the threat of extermination. Believers may have to worship alone, in their homes, secretly, or in various ways corporately. In his one of his Personal Updates, Chuck Missler wrote:

I think that real believers will increasingly meet in homes. That day may come that they don’t arrive all at the same time, but drift in singly, so as not to call attention to themselves. We are locked in a very serious spiritual struggle in the West.

Richard Wurmbrand was arrested by the secret police because he was leading Christian worship and witnessing–both of which were deemed to be illegal under the Communistic regime of Romania. In his book, Tortured for Christ, he wrote:

It is not possible to give a course on the church underground, in a short time. I would urge you to put this question before your synod, before your denomination, and to ask absolutely that courses on the underground church be introduced.” …..We have to make the preparations now, before we are imprisoned. In prison you lose everything…..Nobody resists who has not renounced the pleasures of life beforehand.

When Idi Amin banned Christian sects and denominations in Uganda, people had to decide whether to join official churches or form house fellowships. Within days of the ban, thousands of secret house fellowships had sprung up across the land. In the midst of severe persecution, Kefa Sempangi’s congregation, one of the largest churches in Uganda at that time closed suddenly. Sempangi says,

The Redeemed Church as we had known it had come to an end. After one of the last raids it was unlikely that we could continue to hold public services. We would have to take the church underground. We would have to develop a network of invisible leadership and begin meeting again in individual homes. The prospect of breaking up our 14,000 member church in this way seemed to us an overwhelming task and out of fatigue and perhaps even fear we all agreed that a discussion of a detailed plan should wait the following evening.

Unfortunately, that detailed plan was never discussed, as night came on when no man could work. Some of the leaders of this church would not see each other on earth again. Because of this persecution, church leaders had to flee, some went to the world preaching the gospel of love and forgiveness, and others started house churches.

According to Don McAlvan:

The Holy Spirit may lead different people and churches to respond differently. There are examples from Scripture of people who reacted in diverse ways. The House Church movement has been the means of great growth of the Body of Christ in China. When all churches were officially closed as a result of the Cultural Revolution in 1996, people began meeting in homes.

The number has varied through the years with only five or six people in some, hundreds in others, and thousands in a few. Denominational lines are gone so that the only question asked is “Do you belong to Jesus?” Sometimes believers came together at the same time with no prior announcement. They reported, “The Lord Himself told us to come.”

As More Than Conquerors describes:

If the believer, because of fear, cuts himself off from all contact with other Christians, Satan will have won. It is called divide and conquer. A Christian cannot survive victoriously for long if he is spiritually cut off from fellowship, worship, and teaching. When physical isolation comes, the believer must turn to a deeper spiritual fellowship with Christ.

This must be coupled with increased alertness to look for other Christians. Often a simple word, the humming of a few bars of a hymn, or the almost casual making of a Christian symbol, can be used to make contact with another secret believer…. It may be necessary for a believer to lead someone else to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to end his isolation!

Richard Wurmbrand says:

Some regimes come to power without having real power….The initial situation does not last long. During that time they infiltrate the churches, putting in their men in leadership. They find out the weaknesses of pastors….They explain that they would make those weaknesses known. Then, at a certain moment the great persecution begins. In Romania such a clamp-down happened in one day. All the Catholic bishops went to prison, along with innumerable priests, monks, and nuns. Then many Protestant pastors of all denominations were arrested. Many died in prison.

As an aside, this frightening thought from Francis Schaeffer is offered:

The danger in regard to the rise of authoritarian government in America is that Christians will be still as long as their own religious activities, evangelism and lifestyles are not disturbed…. But let us be realistic in another way, too. If we Christians do not speak out as authoritarian governments grow within or come from outside, eventually we or our children will be the enemy of society and the state.

No truly authoritarian government can tolerate those who have a real absolute by which to judge its arbitrary absolutes and who speak out and act upon that absolute.

If what some Christians leaders are saying is true, sooner or later the church must face two alternatives—social-political compromise with anti-Christian forces or incur the wrath of a controlled political-religious hierarchy.

Since these alternatives have already been posed in many parts of the world, there is no reason to believe that the area where we live will continue to escape their realities. Let us then, as Christians, prepare ourselves now and be sure that our children have a clear example before them if their turn comes.

Consider the following testimony of the saintly Dutch woman, Corrie Ten Boom:

There are some among us teaching that the Christians will be able to escape all this. Could this be the false teachers Jesus was warning us to expect in the latter days? Most of them have little knowledge of the persecution that is already going on across the world. I have been in countries where the saints are already suffering terrible persecution.

In China the Christians were told, “Don’t worry, before the tribulation comes, you will be translated—raptured.” Then came a terrible persecution. Millions of Christians were tortured to death. Later I heard a Bishop from China say, sadly, “We have failed. We should have made the people strong for persecution rather than telling them Jesus would come first. Turning to me, he said, “You still have time. Tell the people how to be strong in times of persecution, how to stand when persecution comes—to stand and not faint.

It is surely better to warn believers to be ready for the Great Tribulation and then discover that they will not go through it than to tell them they need not to be prepared for it and then find that they should have been.

What is very frightening is that persecution of Christians is most likely to come from lukewarm believers as the writer mentions in this book. There will be betrayals, love growing cold due to multiplied lawlessness, division, complacency, and lukewarmness. The cares pertaining to the business of this life will chock out the seed of the Word of God in the hearts of most Christians.

This will be a time to become accustomed to divulging little information and keeping silent. This is an area that is very difficult especially for Americans. It is the American way to help, to talk freely, and believe the best of people. Unfortunately, Americans are also easily deceived and manipulated.

Americans don’t want to believe that their own state is capable of doing the most despicably evil acts known to mankind. However, as freedom is lessened, it will become more important to divulge little information about people and activities. I believe God is going to allow human wickedness to come to its full expression. If we are still alive, we will see real, innate evil manifested with ugliness and fearfulness hardly imaginable.

We already live in a surveillance police state where telephone conservations are monitored and certain words trigger “bugging.” Many technological tools like smart phones are suggested as possible tools for monitoring.

Every unnecessary word spoken can endanger someone. Useless talking is some countries means prison and death for one’s brother. “You cannot learn to be silent the very moment the country is taken over. You have to learn to be silent from the moment of your conservation,” writes Wurmbrand.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn relates that the one who had been his greatest persecutor, the one who denounced him, was his own former wife. It is written in the book of Ecclesiastes not to tell the secrets of your heart, even to your wife…The secretary to Solzhenitsyn was put under such pressure by the communists….that she finished by hanging herself. If Solzhenitsyn had kept silent, this would not have happened.

This is not suggesting lying. A person can withhold information and not divulge information without being untruthful. There is a difference between openness and being honest. As Wurmbrand wrote in God’s Underground:

A brother had been taken to the police and was asked, “Do you still gather at meetings?” He answered, “Comrade Captain, prayer meetings are forbidden now.” To this the captain replied, “Well, it is good that you conform with this. Just go.” The brother had not said that he conformed; he had not said that he did not go to meetings.

When Wurmbrand was asked about meetings of the underground believers, he knew he would be risking danger for them if he answered. “Where the results of resisting are beatings and tortures, you have to take them upon yourself, even if you die.”

During World War II, posters around America and England warned: “Loose lips sink ships.” The same applies to believers under persecution or functioning in the underground church. Be very circumspect with what you say, with the information you give out.

Use a “need to know” strategy, and not only impart that information which is essential and only to those who are highly trusted. Even children and spouses should not be burdened with the information they don’t have a “real need to know.

Concluding Thoughts

We have to prepare for persecution. This is the fundamental purpose of the book of Revelation being written to us. Its message comes across loud and clear to Christians who are suffering for their faith, encouraging them to ‘endure and overcome’, and thus keeping their names in the book of life and their inheritance in the new creation.

Jesus predicted universal hatred of His followers before the end of the age (Matthew 24:9). So we all need to be prepared. If this is not already happening in the West or in your country, it will certainly come. And so will Jesus, before whom cowards will be ‘shamefully exposed’ (Revelation 16:15) and condemned to hell (Revelation 22:8).

A Canadian street preacher was arrested after being attacked by LGBTQ protesters in a gay neighborhood in Toronto on Tuesday.

Pastor David Lynn of Christ’s Forgiveness Ministries has been preaching on the streets of Toronto for the past ten years without any issues.

As part of a 3-day, 22-location street preaching evangelism event being held throughout Toronto this week, Lynn went to the LGBT-oriented community of Church and Wellesley.

A crowd quickly gathered around Lynn and LGBT protesters with flags and signs appeared within minutes to surround and bully him.

The protesters blocked Lynn’s walkway, assaulted him and screamed obscenities at him until police showed up and arrested him for “disturbing the peace.”

A Toronto police officer asked Lynn to stop using his mobile microphone and amplifier and he reluctantly complied to the request so he could continue preaching the word of God.

Despite obeying the officer’s request, Lynn was arrested five minutes later by over ten Toronto Police officers.

In a conversation with the communications department of the Toronto Police Department’s 51st division given exclusively to Infowars.com, officers claim Lynn was arrested for “disturbing the peace,” and was “allegedly yelling derogatory comments at passers-by.”

“You can imagine if somebody is yelling things that are disagreeable to a certain community, in that community, there’s going to be a reaction,” the communications department stated.

Continuing, police said his “conduct was determined to be criminal” and that people were “clearly disturbed” and “appalled” by the comments being made.

China claims the existence of the state-controlled Three Self churches demonstrates its tolerance of Christianity, but the communist government wants all other Christian congregations to disappear, warns International Christian Concern, which assists persecuted Christians around the world.

Gina Goh of ICC writes that like Thanos in Marvel’s “Avengers” movies, the Communist Party would like to snap its fingers and make a huge portion of the population disappear.

The Chinese Communist Party reported in 2018 that China has 40 million Christians. But Goh says that because of “the discrete nature of underground churches, some experts believe that the actual number of Christians falls between 80 million and 100 million.”

That concerns Beijing, she said.

For one thing, the CCP has only about 89 million members.

“Your Party is your God versus one loving and just God, Sino-centrism versus ‘evil foreign influence,’ and socialism versus universal principles,” she writes.

The CCP “cannot afford to see its regime threatened by any mass of people it feels like it cannot control.”

Even if there’s no plan for revolution.

Last month, the government launched a new campaign against house churches called “Return to Zero.”

Its goal is to dissolve any churches not “sponsored” by the government under President Xi, who has targeted Christians in underground churches with threats and torture.

The CCP’s Central Committee has appointed a “Central Leading Group for Inspection Work” to coordinate the attacks.

The plans include absorbing house churches into Three-Self churches.

Already, government agents have gone to many house churches and warned they will be prevented from gathering unless they join the state church.

“For those large networks of house churches, the government’s attitude is to firmly strike and destroy them,” a Chinese source told ICC.
