The Top Ten Bible Prophecy Stories

How do we select ten top stories of the year when, in reality, there were one hundred ten prominent happenings during the year as the last days wind down? Let me share some that I feel are worth discussing. All of them have prophetic implications.

  1. The Rise of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Cabal and their Rush to Global Government

Ten years ago, had you heard of Klaus Schwab? How about Yuval Noah Harari? Were you tracking them even five years ago? Of course not. Today many are aware of this crowd and their one-world intentions. A lot of our readers understand this is the true shadow government. Revelation 13 outlines their scheme well.

  1. The Stirring Up of the Spirit of the Antichrist

We all see the new lawlessness and rebellion in every aspect of society! Its current overdrive was sparked in my hometown, Minneapolis, in May, 2020 with the George Floyd ordeal. Now police forces are reduced, criminals face no bail, and prosecutors encourage more lawlessness. But the spirit of the Antichrist is everywhere–in our government, in our schools, and more. It is priming the pump for the real Antichrist.

  1. Government Knows Best–Trust It

That has been the mantra in the Western world for almost three years. Trust the government for vaccines, to properly handle pandemics and other health issues, and to keep you well! Millions bought into it. Millions will now transition from trusting government to trusting the Antichrist.

  1. The Rise of the Green Dragon: The Worship of Mother Earth

Entire continents have caved to the religion of climate change and environmentalism. They worship mother earth rather than loving Father God. Joe Biden wants to block the sun to fight global warming. In the name of saving energy, farmers in Europe are being put out of business, an action that is inviting a famine. Sane people know this is lunacy, but they are helpless when their governments mandate foolishness.

  1. The Race Towards Digital Currency: Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)

Why are we surprised when our authorities tell us cash is going away? A cashless system plays a prominent biblical end-time role. More than 100 nations are exploring CBDCs, according to the IMF. The Biden Administration is pushing this. It is being portrayed as the answer to many of the world’s problems! We could see it in 2023.

  1. The Decline of America, Rise of Radical Liberalism, and Lack of a World Leader

Although it’s tough to watch, America is in decline. At the same time, name even one global leader. Leftists are trying to make America a liberal paradise like Venezuela. Sadly, the result is more like a banana republic. Progressives are attempting to accomplish what every other Socialist/Communist country has: Destroy the middle class, obtain unending power, create a permanent welfare state, and create total dependence. You can’t have a superpower when the goal is global government.

  1. Christians Are Canceled; Jews are Under Attack

When Sam Brownbeck’s National Committee for Religious Freedom needed a bank account, they went to J.P. Morgan Chase. They quickly realized their account was closed! They are fighting back. At the same time, Jews are under attack in many countries. Assaults have increased over 100% in the last year. New York City attacks against Jews are up 125% in the last year. The “people of the book”, Jews and Christians, are hated as the Bible foretold.

  1. The Rise of Strong Delusion and Global Deception

How else do you explain the rage that girls can become boys and boys can become girls? That men can join women’s sports and change clothes in the ladies’ locker rooms? And that all of this is totally normal and healthy? Trans-identifying kids in the U.S. have increased by almost 1,000% in the last two years. How do you explain the love of killing a baby in the womb, at any stage of life, with a torturous procedure? God will not tolerate this much longer!

  1. Running Amok: Apostasy in the Church

It would take a three-hundred-page book to summarize the current state of the church now. In the last two years, thousands have gone “woke”, seeker-sensitive, and more. Social justice has replaced salvation. Many teach that the church will make the world a better place–even perfect. The sheep are trying to find a solid church–and one that talks about issues of the day and Bible prophecy. Many churches want to tell people they can have their best life now.

  1. The Staggering Rise of the Paranormal and Occult, Called Sorcery in the Bible

The world, and some in the church, are dancing with the devil. Social media encourages this and provides a platform. Even Christians dabble in things they know they shouldn’t. Then there is the blatant–the Commonwealth Games last summer that featured the re-creation of the Tower of Babel and a woman riding a beast–with many bowing down to the beast. This is all leading to rampant sorcery talked about in Revelation, and there it is combined with drugs.

What did you think the last days would look like? Believe the Bible when it calls our times perilous and filled with people possessing selfish, reckless motives. God is orchestrating events to wind up this amazing drama known as the Church Age. The last act may be on display. Expect a trumpet and a shout any day. (I Thess. 4:16)

End Times Prophecy – How Close Are We?

Luke 21, Mark 13 and Matthew 24 all relay Jesus’ lecture to his disciples on the subject of His return and end-times rule of the world from Jerusalem. Each writer employs unique terminology, but all agree on the Master’s ultimate message. Matthew offers the most detailed of the three renditions:

Matthew 24: 3-14 (Summarized): As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples asked “… what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars… Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death… hated by all nations because of me. 10 … many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold… 14 and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Each of the renditions by the three apostles agree on seven specific events, postulates, and outcomes for which we should be aware.

THE SIGNS IN COMMON

  1. Wars and Rumors of War
  2. Earthquakes in Numerous Places
  3. Famine
  4. Pestilence
  5. Hatred
  6. Pretenders/False Prophets
  7. Gospel Preached to Whole World

A study of each category in our present era is very revealing. We no longer need ask: “Where are we today in fulfillment of the end-time prophecies of Jesus?”

  1. Wars and Rumors of War

Each of the following 20 nations experienced from significant war dead in the past year. Yemen, Ukraine, Turkey, Thailand, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mexico, Libya, Iran, Israel/Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Congo, Columbia, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Afghanistan.

Other conflicts also aflame in 2020: namely Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Uganda, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Chad. In the Middle East we are also seeing armed combat in Yemen and Oman.

In total, in the past decade, we have also seen some 45 separate and deadly “religious” conflicts. Led notably by Malaysia, the Philippines, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Myanmar, some 35 countries are experiencing significant masses of people killed.

Year 2016 was one of the most violent years since the end of the Cold War. While violence levels decreased slightly from another high in 2017, non-state conflicts and internationalized intrastate conflicts continue to frustrate all attempts at global peace.

The gruesome total for armed conflicts resulting in significant numbers of deaths inflamed some 75 nations in the past decade. Other outbreaks are simmering in another 10 regions/countries yet lacking enough deaths to tip the statistical scales.

Enough said on wars: Jesus’ prophecies on the topic are occurring today in great number!

Conclusion: Fulfilled Prophecy

  1. Earthquakes in numerous places.

The statistics are staggering. The National Earthquake Information Center records an average of 20,000 earthquakes every year (about 50 a day). There are, however, millions of earthquakes occurring every year too weak to be recorded.

Unquestionably, the earth is seeing a ton of earthquake activity, and some environmental activist ‘scientists’ are predicting an increase in both frequency and intensity because of global warming for the near future.

Whatever the claims/statistics, we can safely and surely say this particular prophecy of Jesus is with us today in full force.

Conclusion: Fulfilled Prophecy

  1. Famine.

After nearly a decade of progress, the number of people suffering from hunger has slowly increased over the past three years, with about one in every nine people globally suffering from hunger today, according to a United Nations report released in late 2019.  An estimated 820 million people do not have enough to eat, up from 811 million last year – third year in a row that the number has increased.

This gruesome statistic somewhat softens the hard fact that children suffer the most from this world-class malady simply because they are most vulnerable to the depredations of those older and larger than themselves. We see no need to dwell further on this very unhappy, obvious topic.

Conclusion: Fulfilled Prophecy

  1. Pestilence

Ironically, this writer had already formed the basic outline for this prophecy report before the current ‘Corona Flu’ epic made headlines in world newspapers. We probably don’t need to cover the topic further, but a few of the statistics we unearthed are interesting. So… here goes!

A pandemic is an outbreak of global proportions. It happens when a bacterium or mutated virus becomes capable of spreading rapidly. It causes serious illness and can spread easily from one person to the next. The Spanish flu pandemic, from 1918 to 1920, is estimated to have claimed betwen 50-100 million lives. It is considered the worst in history. The Black Death claimed the lives of over 75 million people in the 14th Century.

Other outbreaks of significant import include:

HIV/AIDS PANDEMIC

Death Toll: 34 million

HONG KONG FLU PANDEMIC (1968)

Death Toll: 1 million

ASIAN FLU (1956-1958)

Death Toll: 2 million

So, we see that pestilence can kill millions with very little warning. And such diseases as HIV, Ebola, dengue, malaria and so forth are also killing their millions even at this moment.

In totality, we can securely state that this prophecy of Jesus is being fulfilled even as we read these words. Simply watch the Five O-Clock News tonight.

Conclusion: Fulfilled Prophecy

  1. Hatred

The bells are tolling on this one. Unfortunately, this human trait is a two-way street in many instances. Jesus makes it clear that we are to hate the sin, not the sinner. I know too many Christians filled with hatred for people outside the mainstream Christian categories of desired behavioral valuation. In this regard, we will experience some hatred that we or others have brought upon ourselves.

But, I believe Jesus was referring only to the fact we are hated for the same reasons he was hated. God’s standards of intellectual morality and behavioral practices are absolute. The unsaved world prefers that these issues be addressed as situational.

Murder, for example, is generally unacceptable, but killing babies in the womb is okay. The Bible says drug addiction and witchcraft are unacceptable. Sexually deviant lifestyles are also frowned on, but most people now consider such trends to be normal and highly acceptable behavior.

How many pastors are hesitant to even push the concept of Hell and eternal punishment? It’s illegal hate speech in some circumstances according to Canadian and certain U.S. laws. Bottom line, our Bible-based positions on these and other belief paradigms are becoming so severely offensive in the minds of the majority that Jesus says they will justify killing us in droves.

We’re quickly reaching the point where the entire world mimics Sodom and Gomorrah (the practice of sodomy deriving its name from that latter city… the wickedness to which Jesus referred in Matt. 24:13). Indeed, we are now at that point!

Conclusion: Fulfilled Prophecy

  1. Pretenders/False Prophets

Few people fathom the enormous presence of false beliefs and metaphysical practices embedding our ‘modern’ world. Watchman Fellowship built a reference index listing over 1,200 distinct religious organizations and belief systems, not counting the major world religions (including Christianity).

Upon reading short statements defining a mere handful of these indexed belief systems, my head swirled. It was as though I had crashed into a condensed pool of swarming Hollywood-style cartoon mythologies… each crazier than the one before. Take a look for yourself and test my reaction.

In the book, Loving God’s Way!, Gary De Lashmutt and co-author Dennis McCallum list over 40 distinct cults and sects within Christianity itself. Given the prevalence and near-endless range of belief systems swirling about the world… what are young seekers to believe?. For many, it must seem a hopeless riddle… leaving them with sensualism and pursuit of personal purpose (humanism?) as the ‘natural’ response… simply living life as a feel-good matter of ‘anything goes.’

Could Christ’s warning of false belief systems get any more profound and imbedded than what we have today?

Conclusion: Fulfilled Prophecy

  1. Gospel Preached to Whole World

“And the end will come.” Christian television networks have played a major part in helping to ensure that the entire world is being reached with Christianity’s message via radio (including short wave), television towers, satellites and mobile recording and playing devices. The last decade has seen a rapid growth of Christian broadcast networks well beyond just the United States.

Most recently, the internet communications phenomenon has completed the paradigm of realized personal contact. It is impossible to imagine any further communications systems/devices/applications than those existing today in terms of reaching every last human being

We have more missionaries from more countries than at any time in prior human history daily using all of these informational tools.

What more is left to do in terms of carrying the Word to a waiting world? True, pockets of people, such as the Tarahumara (Raramuri) of the Sierra Madres, Mexico, have not yet heard the gospel. But, in all such cases, these groups have been identified and efforts are underway to bring them into Truth.

Jesus did not say everyone will be reached. He said The Gospel would be a testimony to all nations. If there are nations that legally reject the gospel (Muslim, Eastern Mysticism, etc.) and fail to expose their populace to the Christian belief system, that is on them, not on Jesus.

God has been quoted as saying it is not His will that any should perish. That is far different than saying none will perish. A hard truth.

Conclusion: Soon Fulfilled Prophecy

I see the minute hand ticking very near the High Noon deadline on God’s Pre-Ordained Clock of World Forebearance Time. Do we have but seconds remaining?  Considering all of the above… what say you?

Spiritual Warfare and End-Time Prophecy Collide

I must say that right now as I study the Bible and watch world events unfold–particularly as related to Israel, the United States, and the out-in-the-open plans of the elite globalists–I sense that we are absolutely NOT going to return to anything close to “normal.”

And I don’t think our country will be saved by a new election in 2 and/or 4 years.

The ONLY thing that can possibly save our country would be a large-scale national revival. As much as I long for that–I don’t see it in Scripture. I do, however see a great falling away in the end-times. I do see a weakening of America (no country will come to Israel’s aid militarily in the future war of Ezekiel 38).

I think we (the Church) need to wake up from our slumber and realize the night is nearly over. We don’t know the day or the hour–or the year. But, we can “see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25)” and all indicators that this world is currently in the final phases of Romans 1, 2 Timothy 3, and 2 Peter 3, etc.

The gloves are off. The spiritual warfare is palpable. The low-level persecution of true Christians has begun and will intensify. The falling away is accelerating. Deception and great delusion are oozing their way through every open crack. The tidal wave of evil builds just beyond the event horizon. The rapture of the Church will remove the 2 Thessalonians 2 restrainer. Until then the salt still delays the decay–at least as much as it is still salty.

Those of us who have been watching and studying have seen this coming, but to many it has snuck up on them. Here’s an excerpt from my book, The Non-Prophet’s Guide to Spiritual Warfare. It highlights this collision of spiritual warfare and eschatology.

Time Flies

When my wife and I first learned we were going to have a child, I decided to start a journal that would commemorate our child’s birth, then record stories and milestones in a birthday entry each year. My goal was to complete an entry each year until he turned 18.

The journal would have 20 entries total: 1 initial entry, 1 entry for his spiritual birth whenever he accepted Christ (we prayed), then one for each birthday. Once all 20 entries were completed, I planned to give it to him as a graduation gift.

Well I followed through on that plan, and I’m doing the same with my other two children as well. It seems like just a few years ago that I wrote the first entry in the first journal, but before I knew it 18+ years had passed–seemingly in the blink of an eye.

Early on, it seemed that it would be eons before I would present this journal gift to my son. Before I knew it, that moment snuck up on me like a pick-pocket on a crowded city street. In fact, the older I get, the faster time seems to go!

In Scripture, we learn a lot about spiritual warfare as we study the roughly 7000 verses of fulfilled Bible prophecy. We can read and study a few thousand more verses about future prophecy. The 100% accuracy rate of detailed prophecies which were literally fulfilled assure us that the remaining prophecies will also be fulfilled literally.

Here’s the first kicker–end-time Bible prophecy is directly connected to spiritual warfare. More scripture is dedicated to the future 7-year tribulation period than any other time period of history. Think about that for a moment. This period is known as The Day of the Lord, Daniel’s 70th Week, The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, tribulation, the time of travail, and a few other terms.

This intense future period is the culmination of thousands of years of spiritual warfare. It will be a period of time when the seen and unseen realms collide like never before. The battle lines are drawn, and the roots of spiritual warfare will culminate in a final crescendo of final-day events.

Here’s the second kicker–all of the sign indicators described in Scripture point to the fact that we are very close to this prophesied period. Many Bible prophecy experts agree that you and I are living in the closing moments of the church age. In my book The Non-Prophet’s Guide to the End-Times, I spent 7 full chapters detailing the Biblical veracity and current reality of end-time signs unfolding in our day.

Beginning with the super-sign of Israel’s rebirth as a nation (a prerequisite for all other end-time events), and ending with the convergence of specific end-time signs and conditions taking place right now–we can be quite confident that we are living in the season of the Lord’s return and the soon fulfillment of key end-time Bible prophecies.

Prophecies which believers have studied for almost 2000 years have snuck up on us, but many are not aware of this reality. The church at large is asleep to the fact that the paranormal is about to become the new normal. Covert spiritual battle tactics will soon give way to overt spiritual warfare unlike anything the world has ever seen. Are you ready? It’s time to polish our armor and suit up. Things are about to change. In fact, they already are!

Little did I know when I began writing that book in 2019 that the Lord would have it’s release date timed perfectly with the unprecedented events of 2020, when spiritual warfare–with all of it’s lawlessness, deception, and violence would impact our physical world from the battles taking place in the unseen realm.

But here we are. Observing the very clear stage-setting for the future tribulation period from a front row seat. The global puppet masters plan a “Great Reset.” The Ezekiel 38 players dig their heels in. America’s Judeo-Christian roots are being doused with toxic plant killers. Wrong is right and right is wrong. Everything is being twisted by systems of deception.

Now, let’s pivot to something positive. You and I were called to this time. God sovereignly placed us here (read Psalm 139). He loves us. Generations of believers have longed to see what we see. We must rise to the occasion. We literally have nothing to fear (read Psalm 37, Matthew 6, and Romans 8). Even as we watch our beloved country begin its slow implosion, we must remind ourselves that this is not our home. We are citizens of another country.

We can also take comfort in the fact that the most likely candidate that will collapse our beloved country (and with it, the world economy) is the rapture of the Church! Therefore, let’s take the time we would have spent worrying and fretting and use it to share the Gospel like never before!

While the great global revival many long for will come AFTER the rapture and during the tribulation period–it will be during the most difficult time earth has ever seen–and that is an understatement. Let’s reach as many as possible today while we have time. Let’s not waste time rearranging the furniture on the Titanic.

As we see the spiritual warfare become more intense, let’s focus on rejecting fear and filling up the lifeboats so people will be secure now and for eternity!

The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light (Romans 13:11-12).

Brexit and Daniel’s Final World Empire

For several decades, Christians have speculated on whether or not the European Union is the final world empire outlined in the Bible. The Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation point to a revived Roman Empire that will appear in the end times (Daniel 7:23; Revelation 17:10).

Since World War II, prophecy watchers have paid careful attention to the slow and steady unification of western Europe. Along the way, the effort has faced numerous roadblocks. These include squabbles over a single currency, trade protections, debt bailouts, and other issues. One of the latest is an effort to leave the Union.

In a June 2016 referendum, United Kingdom voters opted to leave the European Union. The media labeled the British exit vote “Brexit,” for “British exit,” and many quickly announced the death of the European Union, believing the vote would lead other nations to leave as well. But is this the most likely outcome? No. If anything, Brexit is just another indication bible prophecy students are correct when they compare the EU to Daniel’s revived Roman Empire.

The Latest News on Brexit

Almost three years after the UK shocked the world by voting “yes” to leaving the EU, they still haven’t left. For months, the British parliament has rejected Prime Minister Teresa May’s Brexit package. Some anti-Brexit politicians believe they can indefinitely delay a deal to leave the European Union or engineer another referendum. If so, the United Kingdom might not ever escape the orb of the giant European super state. But even if they do, it doesn’t mean the EU isn’t the revived Roman Empire mentioned in the Bible.

While some people think Brexit is a step backward for bible prophecy, I think it’s just the opposite. To me, Brexit is yet another reason to believe some form of the EU will become Daniel’s prophesied final empire. Why? Because the EU’s characteristics match those of the empire Daniel describes.

For instance, the Bible says this final world empire will be a kingdom:

  • Of ten nations (Daniel 2:41, Daniel 7:7)
  • From among the ancient Roman Empire (Daniel 9:26-27)
  • Made up of weak and strong nations (Daniel 2:42)
  • Of nations trying to strengthen themselves by forming alliances with each other (Daniel 2:43)
  • That fails to hold together or “gel,” just as iron and clay don’t stick together (Daniel 2:43)
  • Divided (Daniel 2:41)

A Global Empire

As I write this article, no empire rules the world. And that includes a global empire of ten nations or ten kings. So the EU in its present form is not the global empire foreseen by Daniel. However, this doesn’t mean it won’t become that empire. Most likely, it’s an early stage of what will become the Antichrist’s global empire. Why? Again, it fits every one of the characteristics outlined above. The Antichrist’s empire will be:

1) A Revived Roman Empire – The global empire from Daniel’s vision is built on the ashes of the ancient Roman Empire. Why do I say this? First, the ruler of this global empire is the Antichrist. According to Daniel, the Antichrist will arise from the nation whose armies destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in A.D. 70 (Daniel 9:26). That nation was Rome. So the global empire’s ruler will come from Rome.

Second, when explaining Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, Daniel described five empires that will rule Israel before Jesus returns. Those empires were Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, and a ten nation alliance (Daniel 2:36-45). He describes each successive kingdom, but he makes no distinction between the fourth kingdom and the ten nation alliance (Daniel 2:40-43). In other words, the ten nation alliance will be a new form of the fourth kingdom – Rome.

Later, Daniel has another vision. This time, he sees four beasts, each representing a world power that will conquer Israel (Daniel 7). We know the fourth beast is Rome because it conquers the third beast, Greece (Daniel 7:6). But we also know it will come back. Why? Because it “will rule the whole earth” (Daniel 7:23), and it will be ruled by the Antichrist (Daniel 7:24-25). Rome neither ruled the whole earth nor was it ruled by the Antichrist. Also, this empire is yet again described as a ten nation alliance (Daniel 7:20), and the ancient Roman Empire never took the form of a ten nation alliance.

Today, the EU sits on the ashes of the ancient Roman Empire. Ancient Rome occupied nearly every part of the current EU member nations, including Italy – home to Rome itself.

2) An Alliance of Weak and Strong Nations – The global empire Daniel described will be a group of weak and strong nations. Does this describe the EU? Yes. As I write this, the EU contains the world’s 4th, 5th, and 6th largest economies (Germany, the United Kingdom, and France). It also contains the world’s 98th, 102nd, and 124th largest economies (Estonia, Iceland, and Malta).

When it comes to military spending, the EU contains the world’s 6th, 7th, 9th, and 12th largest militaries (France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy). Yet, it also contains the world’s 80th, 87th, 91st, and 93rd (Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia).

Alone, not a single EU nation is a world power. Together, they are the world’s greatest economic power. Combined, their military spending is second only to the United States. In fact, several European politicians have called for an EU army. Don’t doubt it – the EU is a superpower. It’s a revived Roman Empire made up of weak and strong nations. And this is what the Bible says will exist just before Jesus returns.

3) A Divided Alliance, Loosely Held Together – The global empire Daniel described will also be divided (Daniel 2:41). It will struggle to hold itself together, just as iron and clay struggle to hold themselves together (Daniel 2:43). Do we see this type of alliance when we look at the EU? Absolutely!

Since its inception, the EU has been an odd collection of politicians, governments, economies, currencies, and militaries. From the Schuman Declaration in 1950 to the Treaty of Lisbon in 2007, the rise of the EU has been marked by a struggle to agree on important issues.

These include arguments over a single currency (the United Kingdom and Denmark opted out), disagreements over how to handle debt crises (the Greek bailouts), and disputes over open borders (the Syrian refugee crisis). Each step along the way, the EU struggled to survive.

And this is where Brexit comes in. Critics point to Brexit as evidence the EU is not the coming global empire. But the exact opposite is true. Brexit is just the latest example of the EU’s struggle to stay together, “just as iron and clay don’t hold together.” In the June 2016 referendum, citizens of the UK voted to leave. Almost three years later, they still haven’t left.

Will they ever leave? I don’t know. Does it matter? I don’t think so. Because Brexit is a perfect example of why the EU is a “divided alliance” (Daniel 2:41). It’s a union of weak and strong nations struggling to bond together (Daniel 2:43). This is exactly how the Bible described the final world empire.

What Now?

A formal British exit from the European Union was scheduled to occur on March 29. After the British parliament failed to agree on an exit plan yet again, members voted to delay withdrawal until June 30. But it isn’t that simple. Unless the EU agrees to an extension, the March 29 deadline will still apply.

This means the UK could leave the EU without an exit deal in place. Such a scenario could wreak havoc on the UK economy and, quite possibly, the world economy. Because of the threat of economic disaster, some politicians are calling for a new referendum or even a parliamentary vote to overturn the will of the people. If they get their way, Brexit could be cancelled altogether.

All this volatility makes it more likely the EU is an early phase of the alliance Daniel described. It’s the mirror image of the revived Roman Empire the Bible says will appear in the last days (Daniel 2:40-43, Daniel 7:23-24). It’s made up of weak and strong nations (Daniel 2:42). It’s divided against itself (Daniel 2:41), and the effort of these nations to come together and strengthen themselves is volatile and unstable (Daniel 2:43).

These bible verses sound a lot like the EU, don’t they? I sure think so. Brexit isn’t the end of the EU. It’s just the latest event pointing to the rise of Daniel’s global empire. It’s another sign Jesus is coming!

Mainstream Media Silent As the Persecution of Christians Escalates Worldwide

The global persecution of Christians continues to escalate dramatically, and yet the mainstream media in the United States is virtually silent about it.  In this article, I am going to quote a lot of sources, but they are all either overseas news outlets or Christian websites in the United States.

To a certain extent, I think that the mainstream media is extremely hesitant to report about the global persecution of Christians because it may cause the general public to feel sympathetic, and that would definitely be counterproductive to what they are trying to accomplish.

Ultimately, the elite are trying to demonize Christians, conservatives, patriots and anyone else that would attempt to oppose their radical agenda for America.  So they are banning us from their Internet platforms, they are mocking us on their news and entertainment programs, and they certainly don’t want to highlight the fact that the persecution of Christians is escalating rapidly around the globe.

In this article, I would like to share with you 8 recent examples of Christians being persecuted that you probably never heard about from the mainstream media…

#1 In Kenya, two Christians were recently pulled off a bus and shot dead for failing to recite the Islamic creed…

International Christian Concern reported on the statements of witnesses and heartbroken families a month after the two Christians, Fredrick Ngui Ngonde and Joshua Ooko Obila, were shot dead by Somalia-based terror group al-Shabaab for refusing to recite the Islamic creed.

“The armed Somali fighters ordered all of us to [get off of] the bus and produce our identity cards. They singled out three passengers and ordered them to remain down the bus as we boarded. They asked them if they were Muslims and if they knew the Shahada and the seven verses of Suratul Fatiha. One of them recited part of the Shahada and was allowed to [return] to the bus,” a witness who wasn’t named told the watchdog group.

“The other two kafir men refused to obey the jihad fighters and remained adamant that Christ is their savior and they cannot deny the Christian faith. They were shot dead.”

#2 In Nigeria, the death toll for Christians “continues to rise to catastrophic proportions” as radical groups continue their genocidal campaign…

The death toll for Christians in Nigeria continues to rise to catastrophic proportions as the nation seems helpless or unwilling to stop bloodthirsty Islamic radicals targeting Christians in the region.

This time jihadists–identified as notorious Fulani Herdsmen–toting guns and machetes slaughtered 17 innocent victims in one evening, including four young children and a grandmother.

All of the victims are said to be members of a local evangelical Christian church.

#3 An American missionary that just moved to Cameroon was viciously gunned down in front of his wife and children…

An American Christian missionary has been shot dead in front of his wife and kids in a volatile region of Cameroon. Charles Wesco, 44, was killed when a volley of gunfire struck his car windshield as he traveled to a local store with his wife, Stephanie, one of his children and a fellow missionary. The ministry worker was rushed to a hospital in the city of Bamenda where he was pronounced dead.

#4 In Pakistan, a Christian pharmacist recently died after a gang of Muslims attacked him with acid…

According to Asia News, Faraz Ahmed Badar was a 26-year-old pharmacist who worked at the DHQ Hospital in Gujaranwala. Before his death, he had been harassed relentlessly by a Muslim colleague, who was reportedly jealous that Badar was in a more senior position than him at work. The understanding was this – if you are a Christian, you should never be allowed to rise above a Muslim at work. And it was this prejudice that resulted in Badar’s untimely death.

On 5 September, the pharmacist was preparing for his shift when he was brutally attacked with acid by a group of men who were wearing face masks. The suspects are still at large. Badar was rushed to a local hospital, where he spent 10 days, before succumbing to his injuries and dying on September 15.

#5 In Myanmar, rebel attacks have “destroyed or closed” 12 churches, and some pastors have even had their heads shaved…

A group of rebels has set its sights on Burmese Christians in a fresh series of attacks, with devastating results. Over the past couple of weeks, Ethnic Wa rebels have shut down churches, destroyed religious buildings and even shaved the heads of local pastors.

The communist United Wa State Army (UWSA), Myanma’s largest ethnic rebel force, launched the assaults in Shan state, according to Morning Star News.

“We confirmed that at least 12 churches have been destroyed or closed as of Sept. 20,” said one church leader of the latest spree of attacks.

#6 In India, the police recently stormed a church service on a Sunday morning and arrested 10 pastors as they were praying because “they had been converting non-members”…

The 10 pastors were detained with their loved ones as they prayed at a church on Sunday in Uttar Pradesh, northern India, following allegations made by Hindu nationalist groups that they had been converting non-members.

Pastor Bahavan Ram was arrested after police burst into his church in Kariyabar in what has been described as a major crackdown on Christianity in the state.

#7 The persecution of Christians in China is the worst that it has ever been in modern times.  According to a British news source, “hundreds of churches” have now been demolished by government officials…

China has imposed a massive crackdown on Christianity across the country, with hundreds of churches demolished and Bibles banned.

Beijing’s President Xi Jinping has previously labelled Christianity as “Western infiltration”, insisting Western ideologies that post a threat to the country’s Communist authority.

In April, China’s religious affairs department published an article stating all churches in country must follow the Communist Party’s rules so that they are “Sinicized” (made more Chinese).

#8 American Christians generally have it much easier than the rest of the world, but incidents of violence are becoming more frequent here as well.  For example, a church in Seattle was recently firebombed with Molotov cocktails…

As a group of about 50 congregants attended a worship service at a Seattle-based church, an arsonist hurled several Molotov cocktails toward the sanctuary.

Witnesses told authorities they saw a person throwing lit bottles filled with an unknown substance at Iglesia ni Cristo just after 8 p.m. Thursday and immediately called 9-1-1, according to KCPQ-TV.

If some leftist group had been firebombed, it would have made front page news all over the country and CNN and MSNBC would have been breathlessly examining every little detail for hours.

In the end, everyone has an agenda to push, and stories about Christian persecution absolutely do not fit with the narratives that the corporate media are trying to propagate.

But just because they are ignoring this global surge in Christian persecution does not mean that it does not exist.  We truly do live in apocalyptic times, and we should expect persecution to continue to rise as anti-Christian sentiment continues to grow.

Thankfully, we don’t have to worry too much about being gunned down or arrested here in the western world, but we can certainly see anti-Christian sentiment rising all around us.  Christians are portrayed as nut jobs on our television shows and in our movies, Christian values are endlessly demonized on our news programs, and now prominent Christians voices are continually being silenced on social media.

We are going down the same path that much of the rest of the world has already gone down, and it is just a matter of time before the sort of brutal persecution being experienced elsewhere happens here too.

Video Exposes News Stations Across U.S Pumping Exact Same Script

Videos that show the striking similarities between the scripts used by local TV anchors and reporters are nothing new, but a recent compilation has taken the Internet by storm as it shows dozens of news stations coming together to warn about the dangers of “fake news” with an eerily identical script.

The video started with news clips from four different stations across the country in which each anchor read from a teleprompter that appeared to say, “Our greatest responsibility is to serve our [insert location here] communities. We are extremely proud of the quality, balanced journalism that [insert station here] produces.”

Then nine stations were featured on the screen and they all said in unison, “But we’re concerned about the troubling trend of irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country. The sharing of biased and false news has become all too common on social media.”

“More alarming, some media outlets publish these same fake stories… stories that just aren’t true, without checking facts first,” the videos continued, as at least 36 stations filled the screen at one time.

“Unfortunately, some members of the media use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control ‘exactly what people think.'”

Then the video highlighted one important line that was parroted by each station:

This is extremely dangerous to our democracy.

The one major thing that each of these local stations has in common is that they are all owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, a media conglomerate that is the largest television station operator in the United States with around 200 stations in more than 100 markets.

The segments were filmed as promotional videos, and multiple local anchors who participated told CNN that in addition to scripts, they also received direct instructions from their corporate bosses.

“Please produce the attached scripts exactly as they are written. This copy has been thoroughly tested and speaks to our Journalistic Responsibility as advocates to seek the truth on behalf of the audience,” the instructional document said, according to the anchors.

The document then went into detail on how the anchors should dress and the colors they should wear to appear politically unbiased:

Talent should dress in jewel tones. However, they should not look political in their dress or attire. Avoid total red, blue and purples dresses and suits. Avoid totally red, blue and purple ties, the goal is to look apolitical, neutral, nonpartisan yet professional. Black or charcoal suits for men…females should wear yellow, gold, magenta, cyan, but avoid red, blue or purple.

The anchors reciting the scripts in the promo videos state that they believe “it’s our responsibility to pursue and report the truth. We understand truth is neither politically ‘left nor right.’ Our commitment to factual reporting is the foundation of our credibility, now more than ever.”

They then acknowledge that “we are human and sometimes our reporting might fall short,” and they encourage viewers to visit the station’s website and submit their concerns, “if you believe our coverage is unfair.” However, the instructional document reportedly states that “corporate will monitor the comments and send replies to your audience on your behalf.”

Local TV stations are often looked at as different and set apart from the major mainstream media networks because they focus on a single community, instead of tackling the realm of national politics.

However, each local station is owned by a much larger corporation like Sinclair Broadcast Group and when the owner demands that hundreds of its employees make identical promotional videos, they follow orders.

As The Free Thought Project has reported, while there was once a time when the mainstream media was run by dozens of companies, it is now controlled by six corporations, which all have ties to the Council on Foreign Relations, and as is the case with this report,

The narrative created by CFR and its cohorts is picked up by their secondary communicators, also known the mainstream media, who push it on the populace with no analysis or questioning.

Rise of The Beast? New Push For Powerful Federal Europe Led By President

European Union boss Jean-Claude Juncker has charted a course for a much more powerful superbloc of nations in his controversial State of the Union address. With Britain leaving and the continent’s economy growing, its federalists are now taking the chance to push for a big leap forward.

The most notable for prophecy watchers is his call for combining the EU’s two presidental positions — the European Commission, responsible for the bloc’s day-to-day running, and the European Council, which brings together the national leaders — in a single post, filled after a Europe-wide election.

“To understand the challenges of his or her job and the diversity of our member states, a future president should have met citizens in the town halls of Helsinki as well as in the squares of Athens,” Juncker said.

Electing a single leader for the bloc has been suggested for years but rarely has the role and responsibility of such a position been outlined.  This new leadership position would also be emboldened by what the European Commission Presidents envisions as a new European Defence Union that all member stats would join – essentially an EU army.

Several member states led by Germany and France have already taken incremental steps to consolidate specific units, divert defense funds into sequestered accounts and create new coordinated command structures.  For the first time, the EU created in March a joint military command center.

In fact Gernmany’s foreign minister has expressed hopes of a European superstate becoming a global player in international politics, in the midst of growing tensions between Russia and North Korea. Foreign minister Sigmar Gabriel said it was time Europe found its “own voice” instead of letting the US dictate global affairs while the continent argues amongst itself.

Part of that unified push sees an oppotunity for Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia to finally become full members of the Schengen borderless area while the President of the Ukraine is pushing for an immediate seat at the EU table to become the bloc’s 28th member.  This would stretch the power of Brussels thousands of miles from Ireland to the borders of Russia.

Ukrainian President Poroshenko called for Ukraine to be seen as the “new eastern border” of the European Union, a union which he said should accept the vision of Juncker and become “closer”. He said: “The idea of European integration must get a second wave.

Will this second wave create a fully unified EU that could soon be a military to rival that of the United States in size, capability and cohesion? The bureaucrats in Brussels would like nothing more.

Bible prophecy watchers have long speculated that the EU could represent be the final “Beast” empire talked about in the book of Daniel and Revelation.

The potential for a new more powerful/federalist Europe with a single president to lead it has ramifications not only politically and economically but prophetically as well.

Surprisingly, even The Economist magazine recognized that this was an important factor for some Protestants voting to leave the Union in their article: “Protestants, leaving Europe is a matter of eschatology”.

These evangelicals believed that remaining in the EU put them at risk of eventually joining the “The Beast’s” final world empire.  Why did they believe this?

The Bible speaks of several different beasts. Each one is used symbolically to give insight into different aspects of the final world empire and it’s leader, and when studied together give us a much better picture of what to expect in the Last Days.

Revelation 13 speaks of a beast in its first 7 verses. Another beast, ridden by a woman, is described in Revelation 17. Daniel 7 speaks of four separate beasts, with a reference to a “little horn” that appears during the time of the fourth beast. Revelation 13 also describes a second “two-horned beast,” beginning in verse 11. These beastly images are also to be understood in the context of the giant image of a man composed of four separate metals in Daniel 2.

Relative to most of these descriptions, in describing this final world empire is the number 10; 10 toes, 10 heads and 10 horns. Each give us different understanding but all point to an alliance of 10 nations or leaders that will one day be controlled by the “little horn”, the Antichrist.

It remains to be seen how the number 10 figures into this new European push but some have suggested as the EU enlarges it needs a smaller council to help it be administered.  A  European council of 10 that represtents the bloc of nations to the EU president is an interesting possibility.

Will a new, powerful and charismatic leader emerge on the scene to lead Europe? European Commission Juncker is already pushing for the spread of the Euro to non-European nations.  This would certainly spread the economic power of the joint bloc as well.

We do not know how these proposals will ultimately play out but we do know eventually this prophecy will come to pass.  Recent events represent serious change for this region and the world.  It is an area that the Bible has a lot to say about in the Last Days and we encourage you to become familiar with the different passages in Daniel and Revelation that reveal what the final world empire will look like.

Several prophecy experts recently came together to produce a new 10 hour DVD series called Decoding The Future”, that walks you through the Book of Revelation, chapter by chapter.  This resource will equip you with a better understanding of how these “beast” passages fit into the larger context of Revelation and the Bible itself.

Your Smart City Is Watching You

Cities around the country are quickly adapting “smart” technologies in efforts to bring about greater efficiency, reduce crime, identify at-risk areas, improve traffic, ensuring adequate downtown parking, and accomplish many more solutions to everyday big city problems.

This greater efficiency, though, may come at a prohibitive cost for the citizens. In fact, it’s leading many citizens to take notice and begin asking questions on their own.

Consider these potential pros and cons and get involved in the conversation in your community before agreeing to go “smart” for various vital operations and infrastructures that will affect your life and the lives of your family.

What Types of Technology do Smart Cities Employ?

The term Smart City means different things to different people. For instance, the city of San Diego recently installed well over 3,200 cameras and microphones throughout the city so they could engage in large-scale use of this surveillance technology.

A mock-up Smart City located in the wilderness of New Mexico has tested the use of Stingray cell phone surveillance towers, Bluetooth monitoring, surveillance cameras, license plate readers, microphones, and more.

All of these technologies are being perfected under the guise of improving the lives of citizens, but there are many who believe, from the focus of Smart City spending, that the actual goals are a little more sinister.

Smart City Pros

The data gathered and collected in public places can help to improve the lives of ordinary citizens in larger cities. It’s true. This can be used to reduce energy expenses for the city, ease traffic congestion, identify inefficiencies in public spending, and – in a perfect world – reduce the tax burdens for the population.

One fantastic example is in the city of Barcelona where using smart technology in water meters helped the city save $58 million per year.

It actually sounds quite good at first glance. After all, there is no harm in any of these things – and who doesn’t want lower taxes for the multitudes. The problem is, that the government is using surveillance of these same people to accomplish those goals. Which brings us to the potential cons of a Smart City technology.

Smart City Cons

Although the cost to privacy in the world of surveillance cities is an important consideration, it isn’t the only one to keep in mind. Some of the problems can have serious real-world consequences, like the following.

Security Vulnerabilities – Hacking is big business for criminals and big cities represent a gold mine of information and potential theft.

This makes them a target for a wide range of hackers including those that are simply out for a little mischief to those who would exploit safety vulnerabilities and others who might steal financial and personal information about cities and citizens alike.

Computer Bugs and Glitches – In a world of numbers, even the simplest of computer glitches can be costly. They can place 10-year-old boys on no-fly lists, cost millions of dollars, and send eviction notices to law abiding tax payers.

Power Failures – Without adequate fail-safes in place a power outage at a critical time can cause widespread devastation to the infrastructure of a Smart City. One hurricane, wildfire, tornado, or thunderstorm can cause a lot of problems for an unprepared city – even if it is a Smart City.

Totalitarian Control – what happens when a politician or even a corporation that has access to this data wants to use the information to empower themselves or even oppress others?

City data will also enable authorities to compile unimaginably detailed profiles of every single individual.

By analyzing information using data-science techniques, a city could learn not only the day-to-day routine of an individual but also his preferences, behavior and even emotional state. Cities could know more about people than they know about themselves.

Considering governments track records on snooping look at the history of the NSA or KGB the likelihood of smart cities not ending up as Orwellian as they sound is probably slim to none.

Smart Cities might sound like simple solutions for the future. Before you embrace the added efficiency that this technology promises, consider the risks it poses too.

The Coming Convergence

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us, when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3)

Is it possible to know the day of our demise? Jesus chastised religious leaders in ancient Jerusalem for not knowing the time of His first arrival. Will the prophesied final generation today make the same mistake? The Bible foretells that the end of days would be preceded by a sequence of global events that has never before occurred, but can this be proven?

Through newly exposed geological and statistical evidence, a convergence of events has now been discovered that many believe finally prove the Tribulation is about to begin!

This whistleblower film breaks the mold of what a documentary can be by pulling you deeper into the reality of the approaching apocalypse as you follow the story of a young girl (Erin Hawkins) that is living through the end of days.

Her cinematic interruptions throughout the documentary act as a warning to the genuine reality humankind will soon face. The conclusion of The Coming Convergence leaves such an impact that attendees during the film’s theatrical premiere in California were driven to tears and shock.

Technology’s Dark Side

Do you ever feel like you have been completely abandoned by the world?  Do you struggle with feelings of loneliness, isolation and depression?  If so, you are far from alone.

Thanks to technology Americans are more isolated than they have ever been before, and as you will see below, this is really starting to cause a major national crisis.  Humans were designed to be social creatures, and researchers have found that a lack of interaction with others can cause major mental, emotional and social problems.

Not only that, it can also lead to premature death.  We actually have a need to love others and to be loved by them, and if those needs are not met the consequences can be quite dramatic.

Unfortunately, our society has evolved to the point where we hardly interact with one another anymore.  First of all, the size of the average household has declined from about 4.5 people to about 2.5 people over the past 100 years, and we lead the world in the number of one person households.

So for most of us, the number of people that we interact with in our homes is quite limited.

For children, at least there is quite a bit of interaction with others at school, but once you become an adult things are very different.

Most adults get up in the morning and drive by themselves to work.  Even if you take mass transportation, it is very rare to actually have a meaningful discussion with anyone.

I remember the days when I would take the Metro into Washington D.C. every morning, and most of the time there was complete silence even though the trains were usually completely packed during rush hour.  Most people would either close their eyes, read a book or spend the entire trip staring into their phones.

I have to say that cell phones have probably done more to damage real human interaction than almost any other invention in human history.  So many people just walk around like zombies obsessively staring into their little phones while life goes on all around them.  And it is the worst with young people.

For some of them, it is virtually impossible to get them to put those things down long enough to have a real conversation with them.

Once most Americans get to their places of employment there is some human interaction, but it is generally limited to topics related to work.  Yes, some very deep and meaningful relationships can be built at work, but these days that is fairly rare.

At the end of the day, most people get back into their vehicles and head home.  Perhaps a stop is made for a quick shopping trip, but randomly engaging other shoppers in conversation is not something that is typically done.

In the evenings, the vast majority of us spend several hours staring into our flickering television sets consuming whatever “entertainment” the corporate media giants have concocted for us.

Like the cell phone, the television has been one of the worst things to ever happen to human interaction. In the old days, families would sit out on their front porches and get to know their neighbors, but these days a lot of people don’t know their neighbors at all.

What I am trying to point out is that we have become a deeply lonely nation, and some are describing this as “a public health crisis”…

Truly, a public health crisis is in the making. Transcending all demographics, loneliness is an epidemic which is literally killing us. After 35 years of multiple studies, Brigham Young University researchers have found that loneliness and isolation increase the likelihood of premature death by 32 percent (on par with the risk of obesity).

In our ever “connected” world of the Internet and social media, reaching out to someone is as easy as tapping a few buttons, but the amount of people that say they have no one to talk to has tripled in the last 20 years.

In addition to greatly increasing your risk of dying early, loneliness has a whole host of other negative health effects as well…

Research indicates that perceived social isolation (i.e. loneliness) is a risk factor for, and may contribute to, poorer overall cognitive performance, faster cognitive decline, poorer executive functioning, increased negativity and depressive cognition, heightened sensitivity to social threats, a confirmatory bias in social cognition that is self-protective and paradoxically self-defeating, heightened anthropomorphism and contagion that threatens social cohesion.

I don’t know what all of that means, but it sounds really bad.

Sometimes I wish that scientists would just speak to us in plain English.

Loneliness is particularly chronic among the elderly.  The following comes from the New York Times…

The profound effects of loneliness on health and independence are a critical public health problem,” said Dr. Carla M. Perissinotto, a geriatrician at the University of California, San Francisco. “It is no longer medically or ethically acceptable to ignore older adults who feel lonely and marginalized.

In Britain and the United States, roughly one in three people older than 65 live alone, and in the United States, half of those older than 85 live alone. Studies in both countries show the prevalence of loneliness among people older than 60 ranging from 10 percent to 46 percent.

If you have a parent or a grandparent that is living alone, please visit them on a regular basis.

You may never know how much it means to them.

Of course loneliness is a big problem on the other end of the age spectrum as well.  The following comes from U.S. News & World Report…

The American Freshman Survey collected responses from about 153,000 full-time, first-year students at more than 200 four-year public and private institutions in 2014. An increasing number of students – now 38.8 percent – said they spend less than five hours each week with friends, while just 18 percent said they spend more than 16 hours weekly with friends.

It’s the opposite of the picture student responses painted in 1987, when two-thirds said they spent more than 16 hours each week socializing.

Those numbers are absolutely staggering.  Because so many of us are feeling so lonely and so isolated, it should come as no surprise that depression is at epidemic levels in this country.

In fact, the number of Americans that have been formally diagnosed with depression is increasing at a rate of about 20 percent a year, and at this moment approximately one out of every six Americans is on an anti-depressant or some other sort of psychiatric drug.

According to the New York Times, more than 30 million Americans are currently taking antidepressants, and each year more than 250 million prescriptions for antidepressants are issued.

As technology takes over our lives, the trends that I have discussed in this article will likely accelerate even more, and our need for real human interaction will become even greater.

So make it a point to reach out and love those around you, because our world is becoming a very cold place.
